Season's Greetings

Today's challenge at Sugarcreek Hollow is another sketch challenge. I chose to use one of the new Christmas images. Set up like a postage stamp, this image has so many possibilities. Wanting to keep the focus on the image, I chose to add just a little color - yellow to simulate the light, plus a little Spica pen for the pine bows. I also lightly inked the ribbon, giving it a more aged appearance.

Now head off to the rest of the team's blogs and see what they've done this week.

  7. Hi Stephanie!
This is lovely. The torn paper looks very good, and I really like how you let the image be the focal point.

  8. I like your shabby torn letter behind the "stamp". The lamp post is one of my favorite images. Great job!
