Wedding card with Scor-Pal

It's new challenge time at Scor-Pal and we'd love to see your projects.  This month's theme is anything goes, so link up your projects for a chance to win a prize from Scor-Pal.

My project is a wedding card that has it's own decorated envelope.

Cut cardstock 9" x 12".
With 12" edge along the top of the ScorPal, score at  5 3/4" and 11 1/2"

Add ScorTape along the 1/2" flap and the bottom edge.
Fold in half to create the pocket.

Cut cardstock 3" x 6 1/4"
Score at 1/4" and 6"
Rotate and score 1/4"
Fold along all scored lines and cut out the corner pieces
Add Scor-Tape to flaps and adhere to front

Stamp phrase on strip of pattern paper, then add to pocket

Find center of the envelope and draw a light line down about 3 1/2"
Cut 2 pieces of pattern paper 5 5/8" x 8 3/8"
Use liquid glue to adhere both pieces to inside of the envelope
Cut along the line
Use a pencil to roll the cut pieces on the diagonal
Add a dab of glue to the card and hold the rolled pieces in place until set

Ink tags with pink ink
Score at 2 3/4" , 3" and 3 1/4" for definition

Place  5 stamps on tags
Pick up with acrylic block
Ink with black ink and stamp onto tags

Add twine to tags and insert into front pocket
 Die cut 2 hearts
Adhere hearts together then use pop dots to place at the end of the rolled edges

To create the card:
 Cut 2 pieces of white cardstock 5 3/8" x 11"
Score each at 8"

Add Scor Tape to one flap and adhere to the non scored edge of the 2nd piece
Fold on the score line of the 2nd piece creating the card base
(Make sure the card fits in the envelope before continuing)

Draw a "V" on the card
Leave a 1" edge on the top of each side of the "V"
The "V" should be deep enough so the card is not seen in the envelope

Cut 2 pieces of silver pattern paper to fit the card (inside and out)
Emboss top layer and add to card
Emboss a 1” strip to fit across the bottom using the small embossing folder
Mat with white cardstock, then ink edges with pink ink
Add strip to card
Using a scalloped punch, punch 2 strips from silver and white cardstock
Ink edges of white piece and adhere to silver piece
Adhere to card front
Die cut heart to fit at the junction

Add 2nd layer inside card
Punch 2 strips of silver and add to card
Die cut heart to fit at the junction
Score 1” along from the bottom flap and fold up (helps support the card while standing)

Insert the card in the envelope

This is a perfect "gift".  Just add a gift card or check and the recipients will love it.

I can see this as a Mother's Day or Father's Day card or for any special occasion you have coming up.

What do you think?

Thanks for stopping by.

Steph
