Ice Cream Cones with Makin's Clay

Hi everyone, if you need a fun project to create with the kids, why not consider grabbing some Makin'sⓇClay and Whisker Graphics twine.  Think of all the fun things you can create.

Begin by creating ice cream shapes using Makin'sⓇClay clay and cutters.

Use the Roller to roll out a thin layer of brown clay, then cut ice cream cones for the base.  Use left over clay and mix together to create the ice cream - think rocky road, strawberries and cream, cherries jubilee.........whatever flavors you like.  Roll out these "flavors" and cut out the ice cream tops by cutting off the bases.

Punch holes in the top of each cone and add a jump ring.  Allow to set 24 hours then place a glaze on top to make them shiney.

Cut 3 lengths of  Divine Twine Twists in Watermellon and thread them through two of the jump rings.   Thread Divine Twine Diva- The Wheat Diva through the other two jump rings.

Braid the twines and tie off.

These can now be used as book marks, attached to back packs or purses, etc.  The kids will have so much fun creating an assortment of shapes from Makin'sⓇ Clay.

Thanks for stopping by.

Steph
