Hi everyone, it's time for a new Scor-Pal challenge. Just create a project with more than one score.
While this card looks intricate, it is quite easy to make.
Cut cardstock panel 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" for the card base and score in half.
Cut cardstock panel 5 1/2" x 8 1/4" for the pop up panel.
Score the smaller panel as follows:
1/2", 1 1/4", 2", 2 3/4", 5 1/2", 6 1/4", 7", 7 3/4"
Fold on each score line, getting a good folds.
Place Scor-Tape on both edges.
Folding the panel with the Scor-Tape underneath, fold the panels so both 3/4" panels are flat.
Remove the Scor-Tape and adhere in the flat position.
This allows the ultimate pop up panels to be square.
And this is what the panel looks like once standing up.
Note the square pop ups.
Place Scor-Tape along the pop ups.
Remove the Scor-Tape for the next step.
Fold the pop up panel flat and place the left edge along the fold line of the card.
Keeping it flat, adhere the pop up panel in place.
Decorate the front.
Cut 2 panels of paper 5/8" x 5 3/8" and 1 panel 2 5/8" x 5 3/8".
I added white cardstock and strips of the pattern paper inside along with a stamped sentiment.
Finally, I stamped and fussy cut a butterfly for the front, adding gems as a trail.
A stamped and popped sentiment was added below the butterfly.
AND, just so you are aware, fold down the panels to the card and slip into an envelope.
It folds perfectly for mailing!
Thanks for stopping by.
