Clear Scraps Floral Panel

Hi everyone, I'm on the Clear Scraps blog with this Floral Panel.

I've used one of the panels from the Clear Scraps Wood Rectangle 3 Pack as my base.  Then I cut  Rinea Cobalt/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper to fit.

Using the 4x6 Grass stencil, I applied it to the foil then used Rinea Ghost Ink to add some dimension.    Ghost Ink removes the top layer of foil revealing the silver layer underneath.

I flipped the panel and did the same on the opposite end.  Then I adhered the foil to the panel.

Using Crafter's Companion dies, I  created a huge flower using Rinea Fuchsia/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper and Fuchsia Starstruck.  Assembling the flower, I added a brad to the center.

Life is Good Chipboard Word Title was inked and placed in the lower corner.

Finally, I punched holes in the panel and tied ribbon

Behind the Mermaid's Door

Hi everyone, I have another Fairy Stamper project to share.

Have you seen the new Fairy Hugs release?     It's all about the sea and there are fabulous stamps in this new set.

My first card showcases the Mermaid Door.  I stamped it twice, then fussy cut portions to add back to the door once the card was assembled.    There is always a lot going on in the ocean and so many colors to see.

I've used the following Fairy Hugs Stamps:
Mermaid Door, Rope Net, Frilly Seaweed, Teeny Ocean Icons, Tentacles

My next card uses a background created with Brusho color crystals.  stamped the elements on top, adding color as necessary.

I used the following Fairy Hugs Stamps:
Fairy Door, Marina

Mothers Day GIft Bag

Hi everyone, Mother's Day is almost here, are you ready?

I love creating gift bags - they are just so personal, don't you think?
Cutting cardstock smaller than the gift bag and mat with black cardstock.

Adhere the layers together and place on the gift bag.  Create a pretty bow using the Bowdabra and tie to the handles.

Using the Daisy Frame Dies from TLC Designs, die cut 3 layers from black, red and white cardstock.   Adhere the layers together.

Stamp Happy Mother's Day on the frame and add a small flower from the Apple A Day Die set from TLC Designs to the lower corner.  Adhere to the gift bag and you have created a pretty gift package.

Unicorn Garden with TLC Designs

Hi everyone, have you seen the Alicorn Happiness stamp set from TLC Designs?  This is a really sweet stamp set!

Fold brown cardstock to create a card.  Using the See You in the Center Die, place the die slightly over the folded edge and die cut.

Die cut another panel to complete the card and layer together.

Die cut the yellow paper from the Watercolor Naturals digital paper pack with the next size down die and add to the card.

Stamp one of the images on white cardstock and color with Copic Markers.  Using the small oval from the Oval Lily Frame, die cut the image.  Lightly ink the edges and place in  the center of the card.

Die cut the mushroom border using the Land and Seas dies.  Place the die cut panel across the bottom of the card, aligning with the stamped image.  Place the die on top, tape in place, then die cut the mushroom border so it picks up the contour and stitching of the die.

Ink the mushroom panel with shades of green and brown ink.  Color some of the mushrooms.  Die cut some of the tiny mushroom elements and add them to the card.

Stamp, color and fussy cut the little butterflies and add to the card with foam adhesives.  Finally, add some stickles to her wings and several of the mushroom caps.

Isn't she the sweetest?

Sweet Floral Purse

Hi everyone, it's a new month and the challenge on the Scor-Pal blog is to create anything you want, just be sure it includes more than one score.  This month we would love to see your purses.

There are so many different types of purses on the Scor-Pal site and chose to create the Purse Tote.  The directions can be found here.

Follow along with the directions and you will create a fabulous purse.  Use double sided papers to get a wonderfully coordinated purse.

To close the purse, you could add a velcro dot or use the Bowdabra to create a lovely bow that can be tied to the purse.  Just be sure to put some sweet goodies in the purse before tying the bow to the purse.  Add a touch of ink around the edges of the purse for a little definition.

Remember to stop by the Scor-Pal blog to see what the designers have created this month.

Happiness with TLC Designs

Hi everyone, I've got a new post for TLC Designs and I've incorporated stamps, dies and digital papers.

Using papers from the newest collection: Simply Sweet Digital Paper Pack, I matted each layer with black cardstock to give the colors of the papers a nice pop.

Next, I stamped the girl and sentiment from the Toga's and Bubbles stamp set.  There are 18 stamps in this set and each is more adorable than the other.  After coloring the girl with Copic Markers, I selected the largest die from the Aviary Oval Die and die cut the image.  I then lightly inked the edges of he scallops with green ink.

The die cut panel was arranged on the card using foam adhesives for dimension.

Isn't she adorable?

Etched Mother's Day Vase

Hi everyone, it's time to get ready for Mother's Day and nothing says Love You Mom like a vase of flowers.

Place the vase in etchallⓇ dip 'n etch covering up to the neck of the vase.  Let it sit for approximately 15 minutes.  Remove the vase and pour the liquid back into the original container.  As dip 'n etch is reusable, it can be used for future projects.

Rinse off the vase and pat dry.

Add a decorative bow to the vase and fill with fresh or faux flowers.

Using black ink, stamp a phrase from the Flower and Bird Sketches stamp set.

Cut the panel and ink the edges.

Fairy Stamper Swinging Tiana

Hi everyone, I have another Fairy Stamper project to share.

I had this lovely die and thought the Fairy Hugs Fairy Swing and Fairy Hugs Tiana would look lovely in  the center.

Stamping them with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink, I then cut the panel to fit behind the die cut panel.   Adding pink brads along the swing chain helped tie it to the base card.  Nuvo drops were added to her wings.

Flowers were added across the arch and the panel was then added to a pink card.

While the card is flat for mailing purposes, it's actually a pop up card.  A simple die cut sentiment was added to the corner.

Life is Good Album

Hi everyone, I'm on the Clear Scraps blog using the Palm Trees 6x8 Wood album and the chipboard word title - Life is Good.

I know that 2020 was a crazy year and we really couldn't do a lot of things we usually do, but we are hoping that 2021 will be a much better year.  I created this album to document all the good things that will occur this year.

I love the wood grain on these panels so I decided to use Lindy's spray inks to add color to the panels.  The colors allow the wood grain to show.  I chose 2 colors for the front cover.

For the back cover and the interior panels, I selected one color.

I added some additional color along the bottom of the album,, giving it a sandy effect.

The chipboard word title was also sprayed.

I used a script stamp with VersaFine Clair Morning Mist Ink and randomly stamped it about the front cover.  I only wanted a hint of the words for a bit of dimension.

I cut white cardstock to fit the album, punched holes and added the rings.  Now my album is ready to documents the good things that will happen this year.
