Happy Haunting with Whisker Graphics

Hi everyone, Halloween will be here before we know it!  I'm on the Whiskers Graphic blog today with some cute treat bags.

Supplies:
Divine Twine Collection - Bright White Solid, Black, Natural
Middy Bitty Bags
Imagine Crafts - VersaFine Clair Fallen Leaves Ink; Memento Markers
Suzy Stamps/Crackerbox  - stamps

I started by gathering some different colored bags and twine.

Die cutting circles from white cardstock I stamped the pumpkin trio on each with VersaFine Clair Fallen Leaves Ink.  Then I added color with Memento Markers.

Each stamped imaged was then placed atop a larger circle of brown cardstock and adhered to each bag.

To be sure I had the images in the right place, I folded down the tops of each bag and punched holes for the twine.  Then I placed the Happy Haunting phrase across each image.

To finish, simply tie the twine to each bag.

Aren't they cute?  They didn't take very long to make so if you need a lot for an upcoming event, just set them up assembly line style and put them together.

Dream Girl with Just For Fun

Hi everyone I'm sharing a new card on the Just For Fun blog using some great stamps from the store to create my card.

I used Dream Girl, stamping her with black ink and coloring her with Copic Markers.  She was die cut, matted with a larger die and added to a pink and green card.  Because of the words in her hair, I kept the card simple.

Snowflakes are Angel Kisses

Hi everyone,  I've got a quick and easy card on the Arnold Grummer blog today

Cutting handmade paper to fit an embossing folder, I embossed it and inked it with silver ink and 2 shades of blue ink.  The I die cut the panel with a Lawn Fawn die.

I matted the panel with white cardstock and placed it upon a blue card which I then wrapped with ribbon.

I stamped and die cut a sentiment, adding it to the left side with foam adhesives.

Happy New Baby Album

Hi everyone, here's a sweet baby album using Whisker Graphics twine, tags and bags and Makin'sⓇ Clay as decorative elements.

Supplies:

Divine Twine Collection - Bright White Solid
Divine Twine Knots - Brown Sugar
Divine Twine Bamboo - Green; White
Little Bitty Bags - White
Small Colored Tags
Makin'sⓇ Clay - white clay
acrylic baby album

The front cover "B" was covered with pink paper.  A bunny was fussy cut and seated by the bottom window.  Several flowers created with Makin'sⓇ Clay were painted pink and blue and then added to the cover.  Bright White Twine was then tied to the letter, giving the front page lots of texture.

The letter "A" was kept simple with a strip of rhinestones added along the edge.  A Makin'sⓇ Clay created button was added in the corner.

Twine can be used is so many ways, not just to tie something to your project.  Using 3 strands of Brown SugarTwine, I braided them together.

The braid was then adhered around the interior letter "B".  Pattern paper was adhered to the back of the letter allowing the sweet words to show.

Happiness was stamped on a white bag and a tag was placed inside.  The bag was adhered to the letter and white twine added to the tag.

Stamping on a bag adds a fun element.  Slip a small tag inside and tie with Green and White Bamboo twine.  Jeweled ribbon was adhered around the letter "Y" and a clay button was added to the corner.

Finally I tied assorted colors of twine to the rings of the album.

What do you think?

Happy Pumpkin Pallet with ClearScraps

Hi everyone, I'm on the Clearscraps blog using one of their new products - the Pumpkin Pallet.

This Pumpkin pallet is made of pine and comes assembled.  All you need to do is decorate as you desire. First I painted it orange.

Then I used the stencil with molding paste to create a design along the bottom.

Since pumpkins are never smooth, I added some warts with a circle stencil.  then I spritzed it with Tattered Angels Mists.

Finally, I painted the warts with brown ink and also added some brown ink randomly about the panel.  A decorative bow finished it off.

Happy Haunting Blog Hop

Hi everyone,  I'm participating in a blog hop today with Imagine Crafts and Crackerbox/SoSuzy stamps and I've got 2 cards to share.

My Happy Haunting card uses the Birthday Skeleton.  He was stamped with VersaFine Ink in Onyx Black, then I used Memento Markers  to add color.

For the frame, I used Rinea Marigold/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper, then I die cut it with Lawn Fawn dies for the perfect frame.

Creating a horizontal card, I framed my image with the foiled frame.  By adding Happy Haunting, he becomes a perfect Halloween card, don't you think?

My next card uses the Halloween Tree and the awesome VersaFine Clair Inks.

Placing the stamp on my Misti, I first inked the tree with Fallen Leaves.  Using a dauber, I added additional colors to the stamp using Nocturne, Cheerful, Summertime, Tulip Red, and Green Oasis inks.

The card was created from orange cardstock.  A tartan panel was matted with green cardstock and strips of orange and green added across the center.  Twine was wrapped around the panel and it was then added to the card. The tree was die cut and matted with a larger die and added to the card with foam adhesives.

Happy Haunting was stamped in Nocturne Ink and then cut apart.  It was then matted with orange and green cardstock then added to the card.

Don't forget to stop by everyone's blog to see their amazing creations.  Start at Crackerbox/SoSuzy Stamps, then follow the links to the designers posting today:

Happy Fall with Rinea Foiled Papers

Hi everyone, I'm on the Rinea blog and I've been creating with the Autumn Foiled Paper Variety Pack.  This pack is full of vibrant colors that are perfect for fall.  The included colors are Mocha, Marigold and Ruby.

My Fall card starts with Ruby Starstruck Foil and a Cuttlebug embossing folder.  Rinea Foils emboss beautifully.  Varying the amount of pressure yields different results, so don't be afraid to have fun experimenting with these foils.  At this point, you can leave the panel as is or gently sand it.

I used a small hand sander and gently sanded the embossed panel.  Sanding takes off just the top layer revealing the underlying color creating a really cool effect.

Using a small punch, I punched leaves from a variety of foil scraps left over from other projects.

To complete the fall effect, I matted the embossed panel with kraft cardstock, placed a strip of corrugated paper across the card and wrapped it with twine.  Then I adhered the leaves around the twine and added a die cut acorn design across the top which was die cut from Marigold, Mocha, and Emerald Green.

A stamped panel using Joy Clair stamps - Fall Time Planner - was added atop the twine and a gem was added to the middle of the leaves.

My second card uses a cute Unity Stamp Co. image which I stamped with Imagine VersaFine Ink in Onyx Black.  Then I colored the image with Memento Markers.  Who couldn't love this guy?

I wanted to frame the image so I die cut Marigold Foil with Lawn Fawn dies, putting the smaller panel aside for another project.

Using the Marigold Foil frame, I placed it atop the colored image and adhered the panel to a panel of black which I then added to my card.  The phrase was stamped, matted and adhered to the card with foam adhesives.

What do you think?  Don't the foils add amazing effects to cards?
