Lavinia World Challenge #19

Hi everyone, it's time for the next challenge at Lavinia World Challenges.  Please check it out and join in the fun.

I've used Fairy Wish, stamping her in black ink on white cardstock.  Using circle dies, I die cut the image and matted here with a larger die.

The card was created with layers of pattern paper and the top layers tied with a ribbon.  The image was added to the card with foam adhesives for dimension.

The sentiment is Time to Reflect.  It was stamped in black ink on white cardstock, then matted with pink and added to the card with foam adhesives for dimension.  Nuvo drops were added to the vine.

Would love to see what you create for Challenge #19.  The winner of the challenge will receive a

$15 gift certificate to Lavinia World to shop for more goodies.   Remember there is a new challenge every other Thursday.  Can't wait to see what you create.

Stand Up Love

Hi everyone, I've got a new post for Clear Scraps using one of their newest products.

This new wood product comes unassembled.  Simply paint, ink or add pattern paper to the bases, then adhere them together.  Keeping with a pink and red theme, I painted the larger base red and the smaller one pink.  Then I used Beacon 3-in-1 Adhesive to glue the bases together.

While the base dried, I painted Love with the same colors, both front and back.

Next, I placed adhesive on the tabs and placed them in the base.

Finally, I added a line of pearls to the "L" as well as around the base.  A few extra pearls were added to the point of the heart.

Then I adhered flowers around the base.  The heart moves, so just slip a photo behind the heart.

Happy Valentines Day with Rinea Foiled Papers

HI everyone, I'm on the Rinea blog with a fabulous Valentine's Day ensemble.

I used the Love Foiled Paper Variety Pack as the colors are perfect for Valentine's Day projects.

I first created the gift bag by embossing and die cutting a panel of Ruby foil using a Crafter's Companion die.  You can see how detailed the die is and yet it embossed and die cut the foil so easily.

I placed Starstruck Blush behind the die cut opening before adhering the panel to the gift bag.

Love, also a Crafter's Companion die was die cut from Fuschia and Gold foils, then adhered to the center of the gift bag.

For the card, I used another Crafter's Companion embossing folder to emboss Ruby foil.  Then I wrapped it with red ribbon.

A pearl heart panel was added to the card.  Then I used the same Love  die with Silver and Fuschia foils, placing it on the card with foam adhesives for dimension.  Twine was also tied to the ribbon.

A fabulous gift card for someone special, made that much nicer with Rinea foiled papers.

Loving You Panel

Hi everyone, I've got a new post for Clear Scraps using some new products that will be available soon.

I loved the wood finish and did not want to take away from it's beauty so I simply inked the edges with red ink.

I placed an inked panel of sheet music as the next layer.

Then I proceeded by adding an assortment of elements from tags to flowers and a wood heart which I painted with red paint.  A pearl heart was added on top of the wood heart.

I used a Crop-A-Dile to punch holes in the panel and tied ribbon in place.  Additional tags were added on top of the heart.

A clay corner accent was inked and then added across from the flowers.

I'm using Josie who stands about 4" tall.

I began by created a background using alcohol inks.

Then I stamped Josie with VersaFine Clair in Pinecone.  I also stamped some of the blooms around the card.

My card was cut from brown cardstock and a panel of pink cardstock was placed on top.  This was wrapped with a glittery pink ribbon.

Josie was matted with brown cardstock and Flutterbies were stamped in the upper left with VersaFine Clair Nocturn Ink.

The panel was added to the card wiht foam adhesives for dimension and a sentiment - Every Dream - was then added.

Have a Magical Day

Hi everyone I've got a magical project for Dies R Us.

Using rectangle dies, die cut white cardstock.  Then place the coral die in the center and die cut to create a fun card element.

Using a background of choice, die cut it to fit behind the opening.

Using larger rectangle dies, create the layers and adhere to a white card, placing foam adhesives behind the top layers.  Stamp fairies and mushrooms with black ink and place about the panel.

Use Silver Crystal glitter drops on the wings to make them sparkle.

Please stop by the Dies R Us Store to see all the dies that are available!

Sweet Congrats with Rinea Foiled Papers

Hi everyone, I'm on the Rinea blog with a set of cards today.

I used a Spellbinders die to create the trellis like pieces.

This was die cut from Sapphire/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper.

This was die cut from Fuschia/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper.
The Sapphire element was added directly to my card while the Fuschia was added to a panel of Mocha.

Using liquid glue, I adhere the die cut to a Rinea Mocha/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper. background.  Once the die cuts are adhered, it was fun decorating with an assortment of products.

For the feminine card, I stamped an image and colored her.  Then she was fussy cut and added to the card with foam adhesives for dimension.  Congrats was die cut from Rinea Silver/Silver Starstruck Foiled Paper and placed on  the card overlapping the stamped image.  Nuvo drops were added to create dimension on the flower centers.

To finish, I added several small flowers to the card and leaves die cut form Emerald/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper.

To complete the masculine card, I inked assorted chipboard gears and a wood tag then added them to the card.

Finally I added the Silver congrats across the tag.

Baby Card With Clear Scraps

Hi everyone, I've got a new post for Clear Scraps using one of the new Chipboard Shape Embellishments that will be available shortly.

I painted the onesie with two layers of pink pant.  Then I inked the edges with brown ink.

While waiting for the chipboard to dry, I created my card, wrapping ribbon around the layers before adding the panel to the card.  A sweet phrase was stamped, die cut and added to the corner.

The onesie was added to the card with foam adhesives so it had some dimension on the card.

A heart shaped set of pearls was added around the opening.

Change up the colors to blue for a boy and you've got a perfect baby boy card too.

Thanks for stopping by.
