Today's challenge at Sugarcreek Hollow is another sketch challenge. I chose to use one of the new Christmas images. Set up like a postage stamp, this image has so many possibilities. Wanting to keep the focus on the image, I chose to add just a little color - yellow to simulate the light, plus a little Spica pen for the pine bows. I also lightly inked the ribbon, giving it a more aged appearance.
Now head off to the rest of the team's blogs and see what they've done this week.

Stephanie - just beautiful! I love how vintage your card looks with the old letter, your DP and that gorgeous gold seal! Fabulous job!ReplyDelete
This is lovely. The torn paper looks very good, and I really like how you let the image be the focal point.
I like your shabby torn letter behind the "stamp". The lamp post is one of my favorite images. Great job!ReplyDelete
