Breast Cancer Awareness

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and I've got a clay bra up on the Art Anthology blog today.

 

To create the bra, I used white clay from Makin's Clay and mixed it with Art Anthology paint.  After running the clay through a clay machine, I formed the bra over Smoothfoam which I cut in half.  I let the bra dry over the Smoothfoam for about 48 hours before decorating with lace, flowers, brads, bling and a bow.

 

The canvas background was created with assorted paints white washed on the canvas.  The words were added using a Prima stencil with molding paste.
