Joy Clair New Release Blog Hop

Let's start the fun with the creativity and remember that we always have prizes for our readers and visitors that comment HERE in our corporate blog and in ALL the designer blogs during the hop.

It's new release time at Joy Clair and I had fun creating with one of the newest sets - Christmas Cocoa.  Consisting of   stamps, the possibilities are endless.

I used Spellbinders dies to create small cards (about 4" square) that could also double as gift tags.

I folded cardstock an placed the die over the fold so I would have a card.  To achieve the full design of the die, I die cut another layer to add on the card, then die cut 2 smaller panels.  The cups were stamped in the center of the white panels using Memento Gray Ink. 

I also stamped the marshmallows with gray ink and fussy cut to fit in the cups.  Next I stamped the candy canes in black ink, then fussy cut them and inserted them behind the marshmallows in the cups.

A touch of red on the candy canes really makes these cards pop don't you think?  One of the included sentiments was stamped, die cut and added to the corners with foam adhesives.
