Etched Glass Pumpkin

Hi everyone, Fall is a wonderful time of year, don't you think?  I love the cooler weather, the foliage, the foods and of course, the pumpkins.

Mixed amongst the pumpkins on my front porch is this lovely glass pumpkin that I painted with assorted metallic paints.  Because paint has a hard time adhering to glass, I first etched the pumpkin with etchallⓇ dip 'n etch.

I placed the pumpkin in a container then poured etchallⓇ dip 'n etch to cover the pumpkin.  I let it sit for 15 minutes then removed it.

Once I removed  the pumpkin from the etchallⓇ dip 'n etch, I rinsed it under running water and dried it off so I could paint it.

Using assorted Folk Art Brushed Metallic paints, I painted the pumpkin.

It looks lovely amongst the pumpkins.
