Candy Sticks

Hi everyone, I'm on the Just For Fun blog today with a Christmas card.  With less than 2 weeks until Christmas, here's a quick Christmas card.

I began with a sheet of kraft cardstock onto which I stamped assorted Christmas phrases from the Sentiments 1 stamp set.  I love the variety of sizes and fonts available on these stamps.

Once the background was done, it was just a matter of deciding how to add the jar of peppermint sticks.  I used the Canning Jar Small stamp then added the peppermint sticks inside using a masking technique.  Then I fussy cut the jar and added it to a black die cut circle which was added to a red die cut circle.  Merry Christmas was added to the right side of the card.
