Merry Christmas with JFF Stamps

Hi everyone, Just For Fun Rubber Stamps has disbanded the design team, but I still have projects to share.   

I've used the Just For Fun Skinny Christmas Tree, coloring it with Memento markers.  I then die cut it and matted it with a larger die.

I created a background using a toner sheet and foils from Creative Vision Stamps.  The panel was then added to a green card and the tree added on top.  Merry Christmas is from the Sentiments 1 stamp set.

Be Merry Cards

Hi everyone, Just For Fun Rubber Stamps has disbanded the design team, but I still have projects to share. 

I created 2 cards using the same stamps, just mixing them up a bit.

The Holiday Sentiments Background stamp was inked with assorted colors of VersaMagic ink then placed on a white panel.  I matted the panel with green cardstock then wrapped it with ribbon.

 

The panel was then added to a striped panel and a red card with foam adhesives for dimension.  Be Merry, from the Sentiments 1 stamp set, was stamped and added to the card.

For my second card, I decided to tear the panel before matting it with red cardstock. 

Twine was wrapped around the panel and it was added to a holly background and red card.  Be Merry was added to the card.

Dream with Just For Fun Rubber Stamps

Hi everyone, Just For Fun Rubber Stamps has disbanded the design team, but I still have projects to share.  

Using the Collaged Row Houses, I stamped them with brown ink.

Spritzing several colors of Fireworks! Shimmery Craft Sprays on a craft mat, I used a paint brush and a little water to paint the houses.

I also painted a wood word from my stash.

Using the left over ink on the craft mat, I dragged white cardstock across the mat.  To fill in the empty spaces, I spritzed more colors on the panel.

The house panel was matted with cardstock and added to the spritzed panel which was also matted with cardstock.  The panel was added to the card and the word was then adhered.

Happy Fall with Just For Fun Stamps

Hi everyone, Just For Fun Rubber Stamps has disbanded the design team, but I still have projects to share. 

Ink stamp with Versafine Clair in Shady Lane and Green Oasis.  Then add touches of Versafine Clair  Pinecone ink.

Cut panel to 4 1/2" square and mat with green and brown cardstock.

Cut pattern paper 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" and wrap with twine.  Add stamped panel to background with foam adhesives for dimension. 

Die cut happy fall from green and brown cardstock.  Add to card slightly offsetting the top layer.

Happy Halloween Wtth JFF Stamps

Hi everyone, Just For Fun Rubber Stamps has disbanded the design team, but I still have projects to share. 

I used the Jack 'o Lantern Frame stamp, the Witch's Hat Frame stamp, and the Witch's Leg Frame stamp, stamping each in black ink on white cardstock.  Each was cut and then added to a panel of black and a panel of orange.

I created a card from black cardstock and wrapped it with ribbon.  The panel with then added to the card with foam adhesives.  Using the Scor-Pal, I scored 2 lines above and below the panel.  Halloween Greetings is from Sentiments 1, stamped in black ink, matted with black and orange cardstock.  It was also added to the card with foam adhesives.

New York Wandering

Hi everyone, Just For Fun Rubber Stamps has disbanded the design team, but I still have projects to share. 

Today we are remembering that terrible day in history -  September 11, 2001.

I inked the stamps with assorted inks, then fussy cut them.

The tags were then matted with 2 colors of cardstock which were also fussy cut.  Twine was placed in the holes.

Creating a card from dotted cardstock, I added a torn strip of red cardstock across the card.  Then I added the tag to the card with foam adheisves for dimension.    The phrase was stamped, matted with 2 layers of cardstock and added to the tag.

On Your Special Day

Hi everyone, Just For Fun Rubber Stamps has disbanded the design team, but I still have projects to share. 

Using a stencil, I created the background.  After inking with brown ink, I added the panel to a green card.

The Daisy was stamped and fussy cut, then colored with Memento Markers. I placed it atop a large oval that was added to the center of the card.

The phrase was stamped, matted and added to the card with foam adhesives for dimension.

Up Up and Away

Hi everyone, Just For Fun Rubber Stamps has disbanded the design team, but I still have projects to share. 

The Cattails image was stamped with brown ink on blue cardstock.  In the center, I added a large dark blue oval and stamped the Up Up @ Away stamp on a white oval.  The panel was matted with dark blue panel.

Butterflies were punched from Rinea Foiled Papers in Marigold Starstruck and Fuschia Starstruck, then added around the oval center.

Summer Cards and Gift Bag

Start by creating sea shells using white clay and the Sea Shells Push Mold.  Since the clay needs minimal conditioning, you can begin creating the shells immediately.  Pull off  pieces of clay and push into the molds.  Remove any excess clay and use to create additional shells.  The shells easily pop out of the molds.

I used the entire package of white clay to create an assortment of shells.  Look at all the details on those shells.  You can use them immediately or wait until they have dried.

Using a summer pallet, die cut the letters and adhere the panels together.

Create cards from orange cardstock and place a layer of pattern paper on top.  Wrap the die cut letter panels with ribbons then adhere the panels to the card.

Ink the sea shells with gold ink and adhere by the ribbon.  Stamp and emboss the sentiments and mat with cardstock.  Then add the sentiments to each card.  Place an additional sea shell to the corners of each sentiment.

Next, create the gift bag using the same colors.  Stamp and color the beach scene with Copic Markers and add graduating sizes of cardstock using the same summer pallet.

Finish by adding several additional shells to the corner of the beach scene.

Add items that the recipient will enjoy receiving.

The Dog Days of Summer

Hi everyone, it's a new challenge at Just For Fun Rubber Stamps and this month we challenge you to create for the dog days of summer.

A hammock in the sand is a true indicator of summer, don't you think?

Using the Hammock in the Palms stamp, I inked it with Versafine Ink in Pinecone,  and  .  Then I embossed it with Clear Embossing Powder.

I restamped the image and fussy cut it so I could use it as a mask.

Placing the mask on the main image, I used an art dauber with Brilliance inks, and added color to the image. 

Finally I added the Seashore sentiment to the bottom of the card and some Tiny Flying Birds around the palm trees.

Flamingo Fun

Hi everyone I'm sharing a new card on the Just For Fun Rubber Stamp Blog using some great stamps available from the store to create my cards.  

Using the Beach Flamingos, I inked them with Versafine Clair Ink in Purple Delight and used Versafine Clair Warm Breeze for the water.

Inking the panel with the same colors, I matted it with purple cardstock.

The Paradise sentiment was stamped with Warm Breeze and matted with purple cardstock before being added to the card.

New York Themed Cards

Hi everyone, I've got another project on the Dies R Us blog -  2 New York themed cards in a red, white and blue pallet.

Using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle Dies, I die cut red and blue cardstock as well as assorted pattern papers to create both cards.

The layers were assembled and added to the cards, one being white and one being red.

I inked a tag shaped stamp with assorted shades of VersaFine Clair Ink, then fussy cut it.  I reinked the stamp and created a second tag.  Each tag were matted with 2 colors of cardstock which were also fussy cut before assembling.

Twine, similar to that found in the store, was added to each tag and each tag was then adhered to a card with 3D foam squares.

Sentiments were stamped with red ink, matted with cardstock and added to each tag.
