Scor-Pal - Mother's Day Basket

Hi everyone, it's a new month and the challenge on the Scor-Pal blog is to create anything you want, just be sure it includes more than one score.

With Mother's Day around the corner, I thought I'd create a basket and fill it with goodies.

Cut cardstock 9" x 9".
Score at 3" and 6".
Rotate and score at 3" and 6"

Fold along the score lines.
Cut along the center lines to the first scored line on either side.
Cut the center square into a triangle.

Cut the 4 end panels adjacent to the triangles into 3 strips, approximately the same size.
Fold up the first two strips and hold in place.
Bring up the next two strips, followed by the final two strips.

Fold up the triangle panel and realign the strips creating a straight line.
Staple all layers together.

Cut 1" x 12" strip of the same paper and staple to the interior of the basket to create the handle.
Cut off the trips of the triangles

Die cut circles for each side of the basket.
Add stamped and die cut phrases.

Thanks for stopping by.

Steph
