Halloween Decor with Etchall

Hi everyone, it's time to start thinking about Halloween.  Are you ready?

Placing etchallⓇ dip 'n etch in 2 containers, I put the jars in the containers and let them sit for approximately 15 minutes.

Removing the jars, I poured the dip 'n etch liquid back in it's original container.  It's reusable so you can save it for future projects.

The jars were rinsed and dried.

Then I decorated each with ribbons and bows and Halloween elements to create a Halloween centerpiece.

Decorative Candle with Gwen Studios

Hi everyone.  I've got a new project to share using some lovely ribbons from Gwen Studios.

I love decorating candles and knew this ribbon would look lovely on this candle.

Covering the candle with Rinea Silver/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper, I added Fuchsia/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper as the second layer.  Faux Suede Ribbon was added where the foils joined as well as around the top edge.  I love the suede contrast against the foils.

To finish, I die cut flowers and leaves from TLC Designs Zinnia Slimline Die set using Rinea Silver/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper and  Rinea Emerald/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper.  Next, I adhered them around the jar and pulled the layers out for dimension.

Finally I added die cut circles from the same foils using the TLC Designs Happy Dragonfly Circle Die set and added to the top of the jar.

Thanks for stopping by.

Gift Ensemble with Gwen Studios and DCC

Hi everyone,  I'm participating in the Designer Crafts Connection blog hop, and this month we are partnering with Gwen Studios.

Gwen Studios has amazing ribbons and bows in a vast array of textures and sizes.  Some styles include Burlap, Grosgrain, Satin, and Pompoms, so you are sure to find something for all your crafting endeavors.

Now that the lockdowns have eased and we are free to visit with family and friends, and summer camps are now open,  I created an assortment of items that  children can take with them to summer camp this year.

Why not send your child off to camp with a set of pre-made cards they can send home.  There will be no excuse as to why you did not get a card this year!!!!    Grosgrain ribbons are the perfect finishing touch.

So the cards don't get lost with all the camp gear, place them in a small box and use Burlap ribbon to create a pretty bow.  It's a gift they will love to open.

I, for one, can't go anywhere without chocolate, so I created wraps for several different candy bars.  One uses Burlap ribbon and a coordinating pre-made Burlap bow as a closure.  The other uses a Grosgrain ribbon wrapped around the candy bar as a closure.

You know they'll need to purchase something from the commissary while away, so why not create a fun little package they will need to open.  Wrapping the little package with Grosgrain ribbon adds to the fun in figuring out what is inside.

Finally, I created a gift bag and placed a few extra goodies for the friends they will meeting up with at camp.  Again, the Burlap ribbon makes a beautiful bow tied to the handle.

Please stop by the Designer Crafts Connection blog to see what the designers have created this month with Gwen Studio.
