Viva Las VegaStamps! DT Tryout

Viva Las Vegas is having a DT call.  How exciting is that!.  You can see all the details and requirements here.

We are asked to share 3 favorite stamped projects.  Here are my favorites:

Flowering Canvas
I stamped the flowers on the canvas with crafter's ink then fussy cut a second set, adding them on top
I added torn book paper to the right side with gesso then spritzed color
Inked around entire canvas with distress inks
Stamped and fussy cut my Prima Doll stamp
I loved creating this project!

Happy Birthday tag
Created a large tag which was then inked and embossed
Assorted colors of dye inks added to highlight the background
A flower die cut was used between the tag layers
The Prima Doll was stamped, fussy cut and inked
Die cut were added for more dimension
This would love lovely on the handle of a gift bag or on the front of a card

Love Card
I used a reverse stencil technique on this card by using the "wet" stencil on a second sheet of cardstock and applying pressure so the "wet" stencil inked the cardstock
Colored the image with Copic Markers
Added additional bling to the title

Blog Hop - Scor-Pal and Viva Las Vegas Stamps

Good morning everyone,  Viva Las Vegas Stamps  and Scor-Pal are teaming up this month and I'm excited to show you what I've created.   With so many fun stamps at Viva Las Vegas Stamps, you will find so much to choose from.   And don't forget to check out all the fun creations by both teams this week.

I received this fun plate of stamps with an assortment of images.  I began creating and just couldn't stop!!!!!

SANTA Card

Create a 5 1/2" square card from black cardstock by cutting cardstock 5 1/2" x 11"
Score at 5 1/2" and fold to create the card
Cut white cardstock 4 1/4" x 4 1/4"
Score 1/4" and 1/2" on all 4 sides

Stamp image and sentiment in center of the white panel
Add red ink around the panel
The addition of the red ink around the panel allows the focus to be on the image and sentiment

Mat the image with black cardstock and adhere to snowflake paper
Mat the snowflake paper with black cardstock and adhere to striped paper
Adhere the striped paper to the card

The image and sentiment were one stamp, but you could easily cut them apart and ink them separately.

HOLY FAMILY Card

Create a 5 1/2" square card from white cardstock by cutting cardstock 5 1/2" x 11"
Score at 1/4", 1/2" and 3/4" around the card
Using brown ink, add color around the card

The diamond pattern was created using my Cricut machine
Center it on the card
Stamp image and color lightly with Zig Markers
Using a Spellbinders die, die cut closely around the image
Create a larger brown mat for the image

Adhere the image to the card front

AWESOME Card

Create a 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" top fold card by scoring a sheet of 5 1/2" x 11" cardstock
Stamp image twice on cream cardstock
Cut to size and lightly ink the edges
Mat each with brown cardstock
Place the  images on the card and  score across the bottom at 1/2", 1" and 1 1/2"

Stamp the sentiment on cream cardstock and lightly ink
Mat with brown cardstock and adhere across the scored lines with foam adhesives for dimension

Remember to stop by the Scor-Pal blog and the Viva Las Vegas blog  all week for stunning projects.
