Thank You Card

Today's Use Your Stash Challenge at Scrapperie is to use 15 different embellishments/techniques on a layout or card. brad
charm
stamp
ink
ribbon
rubon
flower
ticket
string
embossing
stitching

This was totally fun to do. So go check out the challenge at Scrapperie and let's see what you can create.

Dream Mini Album

Well, as we start a new year, I'd love for us to Dream about what the future will bring and hope that it brings everything we're wishing for.

Today I was playing with my new Spellbinders long rectangle dies. I thought I'd create a mini book, but found the longest scalloped die wasn't long enough, so I elongated it by cutting half the die first, then moving the cut portion up so that I got the size I was looking for. I then embossed the covers with my Cuttlebug D'Vine Swirls embossing folder. I then used the non-scalloped rectangle die as the pages of my book, cutting them so they fit. Using my bind it all, I created a binding and added ribbons. The tabs were punched with a Stampin' Up punch and adhered to the pages. Dream was stamped from JustRight stamps and the Spellbinders oval dies. It was adhered to some Doodlebug papers with a Prima flower and brad. A little lace jazzed it up a bit.

Supplies:
Cardstock: Bazzill
Pattern paper: Doodlebug
Embossing: Cuttlebug
Stamp: JustRight
Ink: Memento
Flower: Prima
Brad: Making Memories

Thanks for looking.

BRRRRRRR

We had about 18+" of snow between Saturday nite and Sunday morning. It's definitely very pretty, but also cold. Lots of icicles hanging. Paulie isn't too sure about the snow. As long as he can walk, he seems to be ok, but he definitely does not like the snow drifts.

It's another Queen Kat Hop

Today's challenge is to use blue, white and silver. I hope you got her from Nancy's blog. If not, just start at the QKD blog and follow the trail. You will love everyone's projets.

Today, I created a cute little mini book to give to a coworker or a friend. It was really easy to make and quick too. It took only about 10 minutes from start to finish!!! And it was perfect to use with my Busy stamps . While it is hard to see, I "painted" my little guy with some silver Shimmerz and I had to use some brown cardstock to make him stand out a little.

I started by cutting 2 pieces of chipboard and 4 pieces of pattern paper each 4x4. I adhered the pattern paper to both sides of the chipboard then rounded the bottom edges. Using my Bind It All, I added Owires to the top and some ribbon. I stamped my items from the BUSY stamp set with my circle Nestabilities, then mounted them to the cover. Inside I added post it notes and voila - done. Hope you like it.

Don't forget to stop at the store and pick out your stamps. After all, there is a wonderful sale (up to 35% off) now through Christmas Eve, so stock up while you have the chance.
