It's a new challenge at Cornish Heritage Farms and Kris has asked us to create a shaped card.
Creating shaped cards is easy when using Spellbinder's Grand Calibre dies. I used Labels 1, moving the die slightly off the folded edge so I'd have a card. Then I die cut one more panel and adhered it on top so I had the full shape of the die.
Inking the Trees Backgrounder Stamp with brown ink, I stamped it on yellow patter paper, adding different amounts of pressure around the stamp. I wanted a somewhat mottled look to the image. Once stamped, I then die cut the image with a smaller die to fit the card front.
Next, I used a phrase from A Time to Stamp also stamping it onto yellow pattern paper with brown ink. After corner rounding the edges, I added foam adhesives behind it to add some dimension on the card.
Don't forget to check here to see what the other designers have been creating.
