Happy Birthday Dragon Card

Hi everyone, I'm on the TLC Blog sharing an interactive birthday card.

Needing a birthday card, I decided to use the Celebrate Frame Die.  To make it interactive, I used elements from the See You in the Center Die.  Creating a top folding card, I selected papers from the Delicious Paper Pack.

I die cut the bottom edge of the panel using the included mechanism.

Creating the slot across the card, I assembled the mechanism so it peeked from the bottom of the card.  Foam tape was used to adhere the layers together.  Coloring Sweetie the Dragon, I fussy cut her and placed her atop the card across from the die cut birthday cake.  Moving the mechanism allows them to move towards each other.

Adding pattern paper inside the card, I stamped Just make a wish using Celebrate Sentiments.  The sentiment was die cut using the smallest die.

Candles were die cut and added around the card.
Stickles were added for dimension.

Sympathy Card

Hi everyone, I'm using some amazing stamps from Blank Page Muse.

I created the background using watercolor metallics and water.  I used 140 pound watercolor paper because it holds a lot of water without buckling.  After taping the paper down, I began adding assorted watercolors.

I used a second piece of watercolor paper on top to pick up the excess watercolors, and it also helped dry the first panel!  Then I added more colors (and smooshed the second panel on top again) until I had the look I wanted.  A quick pass with a heat gun dried both panels.

Using a Lawn Fawn die, I created the stitched background.

Matting the panel with cardstock, I added it to a top folding card.  Stamping the hearts, I fussy cut them and added them to the card, placing the die cut sentiment on top.

Valentine's Day Gift Bag with TLC Designs

Hi everyone, I'm on the TLC Designs blog sharing a Valentine's Day Gift Bag.

The Gift of Love stamp set can be used for many occasions, so I colored her in pink to coordinate with the Perfectly Precious digital papers.

The angel was die cut with the Happy Dragonfly Circle and she was placed atop the scalloped circle.

The phrase is from Tiptoe Fairy Dance and is perfect for a Valentine's Day sentiment don't you think?

Sunrise and Sunset

Hi everyone, I have another Fairy Stamper project to share.

I created the background using acrylic paint with a Gel Press.

I wasn't sure I like the print I pulled, so I let it sit overnight.  Then I began pulling out a stencil and stamps and love the result.

May Your Day Be Special

Hi everyone,  I'm using some amazing stamps and papers from Blank Page Muse.

Cutting papers to size, I stamped the Classic Wild Flowers Background on both papers.

I placed black cardstock between the layers to emphasize the papers.
The sentiment was stamped then die cut, matted with cardstock, and added slightly off center to allow the wild flowers to show.

Thanks for stopping by.

Doria's Treasures

Hi everyone, I have another Fairy Stamper project to share.

I created the background using acrylic paints and a Gel Press.  Didn't like it at first, so I put it aside.  When I picked it up the next morning, I realized it would work for a great under the sea background.

Happy Valentine's Day

Hi everyone, it's a new month and the challenge on the Scor-Pal blog is to create anything you want, just be sure it includes more than one score.

Create a 3 section Valentine's Day card using Scor-Pal and assorted dies.

The envelope die from Scor-Pal is the perfect size for a gift card.

Decorate the interior panels with pattern paper, more die cuts and the envelope with gift card in the center.  I added a metal heart for a fun effect.

Thanks for stopping by.
