Quick and Easy Christmas Projects - Day 9

Hi everyone.  Christmas will be here before we know it.  The last ten years I've blogged about last minute Christmas ideas you could make in under 60 minutes.  Well, it's that time again and I've got some new projects to share.

Do you need a smaller gift bag for those smaller gifts?
Then consider decorating kraft bags with assorted pattern papers.

Cut cardstock to fit the front of the bags.
Next, take one sheet of pattern paper, cut it to fit the cardstock, then tear it approximately 2" down.
Add a strip of cardstock between the torn papers and assemble.

Stamp a sentiment and cut to fit the front of each bag.

Definitely a quick and easy way to create one of a kind gift bags.

Quick and Easy Christmas Projects - Day 8

Hi everyone.  Christmas will be here before we know it.  The last ten years I've blogged about last minute Christmas ideas you could make in under 60 minutes.  Well, it's that time again and I've got some new projects to share.

I needed a number of Christmas cards, so I decided to create several mini card using 2 pieces of cardstock and 2 stamps.

Using a large snowflake stamp, I stamped and embossed it on a 3 1/2" square white panel.
Use different shades of blue and embossing powders to vary the colors.

Create cards from navy cardstock 4 1/4" x 8 1/2".
Score in half and adhere the snowflake panel.
Stamp the phrase, mat with cardstock and place on the card.

If you need a large number of cards, or are short of time, think mini cards.

Quick and Easy Christmas Projects - Day 6

Hi everyone.  Christmas will be here before we know it.  The last ten years I've blogged about last minute Christmas ideas you could make in under 60 minutes.  Well, it's that time again and I've got some new projects to share.

These treat cups were definitely quick and so easy.
Why not create some with the kids by your side.

I used plastic cups, but paper cups work just as well.
Fold the cups gently and cut off the rims of each cup.

Don't worry about the sides splitting.
If that bothers you, just go with paper cups.
Fill the cups with candy or even a gift card.

Fold a doily over the cup and punch a hole in the center.

Tie a ribbon to each cup.
Die cut Merry Christmas and add atop the doily.

Quick and Easy Christmas Projects - Day 5

Hi everyone.  Christmas will be here before we know it.  The last ten years I've blogged about last minute Christmas ideas you could make in under 60 minutes.  Well, it's that time again and I've got some new projects to share.

I found this metal stocking at the dollar store.
I traced it onto red cardstock.

I adhered the cardstock to the stocking.

I placed a stencil on the stocking and used modeling paste.

Once the stenciling was dry, I added modeling paste across the top to create a fake fur effect.
This took some time to dry.

Using the Bowdabra, I created a bow and adhered it to the stock.

Quick and Easy Christmas Projects - Day 4

Hi everyone.  Christmas will be here before we know it.  The last ten years I've blogged about last minute Christmas ideas you could make in under 60 minutes.  Well, it's that time again and I've got some new projects to share.

I love creating personalized gift bags.
Use any supplies in your stash for unique gift packages.

I had this lovely paper in my stash and I wanted to emphasize how pretty it was.
I matted it with red and brown cardstock before adding it to the gift bag.

I had the metal word in my stash from a previous year and found it to be the perfect finishing touch.

Quick and Easy Christmas Projects - Day 3

Hi everyone.  Christmas will be here before we know it.  The last ten years I've blogged about last minute Christmas ideas you could make in under 60 minutes.  Well, it's that time again and I've got some new projects to share.

Creating personalized tags for Christmas gifts only adds to the fun on Christmas Day.

I die cut tags in green and white, adding lights to the white tags.
Merry Christmas was stamped and punched.

Assemble the tags.

Add some color to the lights and tie the tags to candy canes.
Use the excess twine to tie the tags to the gifts.

Quick and Easy Christmas Projects - Day 2

Hi everyone.  Christmas will be here before we know it.  The last ten years I've blogged about last minute Christmas ideas you could make in under 60 minutes.  Well, it's that time again and I've got some new projects to share.

I found this ornament at the Dollar Store.

I traced the ornament onto Rinea Foil then adhered the foil to the panel.
Other colors of foiled were added across the panel.
Using a sanding tool, I sanded the panel as well as the edges.

Next, I stamped around the panel with black ink.
The wood words were inked and embossed before being adding it to the panel.

Stars and bells were also inked and embossed, then also added to the panel.
A string was added so the ornament can be hung up.

Quick and Easy Christmas Projects - Day 1

Hi everyone.  Christmas will be here before we know it.  The last ten years I've blogged about last minute Christmas ideas you could make in under 60 minutes.  Well, it's that time again and I've got some new projects to share.

Take a dimensional glass jar.
Use etchallⓇ dip 'n etch liquid to give the jar a frosted appearance.

Place the jar in the liquid for approximately 15 minutes.
Remove, rinse and dry off.
Return the liquid to its original container and save for additional projects.

If you look in the upper left, you can see the unetched glass when compared to the etched glass.
Doesn't it look amazing!

To decorate, take some foliage elements, create a bow using the Bowdabra.
Tie the bow to the elements.  Using a craft tool, take the excess bow wire and create spirals.

Using hot glue, glue a white band of ribbon along the top edge that was not etched.
Finally, use hot glue to adhere the foliage elements to the jar.

In all, completed in about 45 minutes.

Scor-Pal Treat Containers

Hi everyone, it's time for a new Scor-Pal challenge.  Just create a project with more than one score.

These are fun and sweet projects that can be mass produced, if needed, and placed on the dining room table to be opened with the deserts.

Cut cardstock 4 3/4" x 5 1/2".
Place the short edge towards the top.
Score at 1 1/2", 2 1/2", 4".

Fold along the score lines.

The 1" panel is the bottom of the container.
The 3/4" panel is the flap.
Cut pattern paper to fit both 1 1/2" sides and use Scor-Tape to adhere.

Fold up the triangles and place Scor-Tape along the 3/4" flap.
Add Scor-Tape along the center of the base and place several kisses on the tape.
Fold into shape sealing the flap inside.

Wrap twine around the boxes.
Create 2 layer tags and stamp sentiments on them.
Adhere each tag to box.

Fairy Hugs Love at Christmas

I am so happy to share that Fairy Hugs is back!!!!!  Check out the New Release - it is awesome!  And don't forget you can pair the new stamps with the older Fairy Hugs stamps.

Fairy Hugs Stamp: Love at Christmas

With Christmas approaching, I wanted to use the Love at Christmas stamp.
It is a nice sized stamp and pairs easily with whatever you choose to create.

Creating a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card, I added a die cut top layer.
Poinsettias were die cut, inked and added to the card with leaves.

Such a pretty card - just add Gold Stickles to the flower centers.

etchall milk jars

Hi everyone, with Thanksgiving on the horizon, let's have some fun with etchallⓇ dip 'n etch.

Place the milk jars in the dip 'n etch liquid.
Allow to sit for approximately 15 minutes.

Remove the jars and rinse off.
Pour the dip 'n etch back into the original container.

The dip 'n etch really allows the design on the jars to show through.

Decorate with ribbons and a Bowdabara created bow.
