Thanks with Crafty Individuals

Hi everyone, I'm on the Topflight blog today using a fun stamp by Crafty Individuals - Inky Borders.  This stamp comes from England.  Looking at this stamps you can easily stamp it as one image as I have done, or stamp the strips individually.

I created a background for the image with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists.

Then I stamped the Inky Borders stamp in black ink directly on the background.

The panel was matted with orange cardstock, placed on 2 additional layers then added to the card.

A flourish was die cut from green cardstock and lightly inked and adhered to a strip of corrugated cardstock.  This was placed across the card and Thanks was placed on top.

Celebrate Your Day

I'm on the Topflights Stamp blog today showcasing another wonderful stamp from Crafty Individuals - Inky Borders and Studio Light - Butterflies. 

I chose to stamp all images as one to create a background, adding selective color to the images.

I inked the panel with brown ink, then matted the panel with black cardstock then orange cardstock.  I wrapped ribbon around the panel before adding it to a black panel.  Coordinating twine was tied to the knot.

Using the phrase from Studio Light - Butterflies - I stamped each word individually on orange cardstock, then die cut.  After matting with a larger black die, I added the phrase to the card with foam adhesives for dimension.
