ScorPal Treat Box

Hi everyone, it's time for a new Scor-Pal challenge.  Just create a project with more than one score.   I've created a treat box to give family and friends this year. They are extremely addicting and so much fun to make.

Supplies:  Scor-Pal
Scor-Tape
Whiskers Graphics Twine
Joy Clair Stamps

Cut cardstock 5" x 8".
With the 8" width across the Scor Pal, score at 1" and 7".
Rotate and score at 1" and 4".

Cut into each corner as shown above.
Add Scor-Tape to each corner and fold the corners in to create the box.

To create the top layers, cut 2 pieces of cardstock, each 3" x 5".
Score each at 1/2" and 1 1/2".
Add Scor-Tape along the 1/2" score.

Remove the Scor-Tape and add each panel to the bottom of the box, lining up the 1/2" score line with the bottom edge of the box.
To strengthen the box, add a separate panel of cardstock 2 7/8" x 5 7/8" across the exterior.
This also covers the added scored panels.

To decorate the box, proceed as follows:

Cut white cardstock:
2 pieces each 2 7/8" x 3 3/8".
2 pieces each 7/8" x 2 7/8"
2 pieces each 7/8" x 5 7/8"
1 piece 5 7/8" x 2 7/8"

Cut pattern paper:
2 pieces each 2 3/4" x 3 1/4".
2 pieces each 3/4" x 2 3/4"
2 pieces each 3/4" x 5 3/4"
1 piece 5 3/4" x 2 3/4"

Layer the pieces together and adhere each piece to the box.

Fill the box with assorted candies and a gift card.

Finish by wrapping with twine and adding a tag.

What a great way to give "a little something" to those you care about this year.

Thanks for stopping by.

White, Black and Tan Cardstock

Ink the edges with brown ink.

Mat the panel with black ink.
Punch holes and thread several buttons with twine and tie off.
Add a wood "thanks" to a die cut oval and adhere to the card.

Happy Birthday Cards

Hello everyone.  Today I am participating in an Anniversary Blog Hop with Crackerbox and Suzy stamps.

I've used this amazing Happy Birthday stamp and created 3 different cards.

For my first card, I wanted a feminine birthday card so I started by painting watercolor paints on a sheet of watercolor paper.  Cutting the paper to size, I embossed it with a Happy Birthday embossing folder and lightly inked over the embossed words.  The birthday phrase was also stamped on this paper with black ink.

The embossed panel was matted with pink cardstock then added to a brown card.  Ribbon and white was wrapped around the card, then the phrase was die cut and matted with 2 layers beforing being added to the card with foam adhesives for dimension.  Nuvo drops were scattered around the card.

My next card is a stark contrast in orange and white.

I started with a white card that was die cut along the bottom edge.  A panel of orange was also die cut then added atop the white card.

Orange twine was wrapped around the card.

The birthday phrase was stamped in 3 colors of VersaFine Clair inks, die cut and then matted with brown cardstock.  Foam adhesives were added to pop the phrase.

And finally, I had some left over papers I created with Brushos so I made a third card.

I wanted a really bright card so I used this panel and embossed it with the same Birthday embossing folder I used in card #1.  Then I lightly ran over the embossed words with a light brown ink.

The birthday phrase was stamped in black ink on white cardstock.  The black and white panels were  die cut with Lawn Fawn dies and added to the card with foam adhesives for dimension.

Inside I added this snarky statement which I think is perfect for someone special, don't you?

Mixed Media Travel Album

Hi everyone, I'm on the Clear Scraps blog with a Mixed Media Travel Album using the Mixable Lovely Album.

This album is a combination of acrylic and chipboard panels in a variety of shapes.

Remember to remove the plastic covering on the acrylic pieces before adding your papers and embellishments.   The beauty of the Mixable Albums is that you can create them any way you desire by using all the pieces or not.

Going with a travel theme, I used papers from Stamperia's Around the World collection to create my album.

Some of the papers were cut to fit the pages.  Some papers were torn and assembled together on the pages.  Pockets were created to add more space for pictures and journaling.  Tags were inked and added about the album.  Assorted metal embellishments were placed about the album.

Additional tags were included as pages for more journaling opportunities.  Die cut words were added to the front cover and on various pages inside the album.

I will be traveling this year and think this album will be a fun way to document my upcoming trip.

Thanks for stopping by.

With Love Floral Panel

Hi everyone, this month the Rinea design team is collaborating with Creative Embellishments.

Adhere Sapphire Starstruck to a canvas panel.  Add a strip of Ebony/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper along the bottom edge.

Ink the  Chicken Wire Chipboard Panel with blue ink, then adhere to the canvas panel.

To get good color on the Hibiscus, add a layer of gesso and let dry.

Use Brilliance inks to color the Hibiscus.

Adhere the Hibiscus to the Chicken Wire Chipboard Panel, adding foam adhesives to the top flower for dimension.

Using the Cricut, die cut a jug from Silver/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper.

Add the jug to the canvas panel with foam adhesives for dimension.

Stamp a phrase on a scrap of Gold/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper using StazOn Piano Black Ink and a stamp from Joy Clair.  Add twine to one end and tie it to the handle of the jug.

Thanks for stopping by.
