I had this awesome DCWV nautical paper on my craft table and knew it would be perfect with the new stamps I just received from Justrite Stampers. After cutting my papers to fit my card front, I pulled out this Anchors Away stamp set and knew it would be perfect for this card! I didn't have the matching Spellbinders die, so I substituted Spellbinders Labels 13.
I stamped the anchor with Clearsnap's Strawberry Ink and the sentiment with Clearsnap's Nautical Ink. I fit the sentiment around the anchor so I could used Spellbinders Labels 13.
The rich ink colors and the sentiments coordinated perfectly with this paper.
Flipping the dies, I cut the sentiment for the interior of the card still using the Anchors Away stamp set
Supplies:
Cardstock: Bazzill
Pattern paper: DCWV
Stamps: Justrite
Ink: Clearsnap
Dies: Spellbinders
This is beautiful Steph. Your stamping matches the background paper perfectly! I love the way you matted and mounted the different papers. Good Luck in the challenge!
