Mini Beach Canvas

Hi everyone, this mini canvas was posted on the Rubber Dance blog last week.

I started by first inking the canvas with 3 colors of Clearsnap chalk ink - blue for the sky, cream for the center and tan for the ground.

Next, I used the #BM1-5D: Sea Mesh stamp, inking it first with Candied Yam Chalk Ink and stamping the canvas.  I then inked the stamp again with Chestnut Roan Chalk Ink and stamped over the first image.

The #BM1-L: Retro Beach sentiment was stamped on a scrap of paper with Rose Coral Chalk Ink and the #BM1-5D: Sea Mesh was stamped lightly on top of the sentiment.  I then tore it, inked it and added it to the canvas with foam adhesives for dimension.

I stamped the #BM1-6F: Beach  shells in Licorice Ink  across the bottom of the canvas.

This canvas may be small, but it was fun to make and is a perfect reminder of summer fun.
