Mini Easter Box

Hi everyone, it's a new challenge at Scor-Pal and we'd love to see your interactive projects this month.

I've created a little box that measures approximately 3" square.  Since Easter will be here soon, I went with an Easter theme, but think how fun this would be as a birthday box or Mother's Day box to hide something sweet.

Start with cardstock measuring 9" x 12"
Score at 3" and 6".

Rotate and score at 1 1/2", 4 1/2", 7 1/2", 10 1/2"
Score at 2 1/2" from top to the score line, then from the bottom score line to the end
Score at 9 1/2" from top to the score line, then from the bottom score line to the end

Cut along the 2 1/2" and 9 1/2" scored lines to the horizontal score line
Cut across the horizontal score line between the scored lines

Fold on all score lines

Bring the middle section together and overlap to form a box
Add Scor-Tape to the smaller panels and adhere together

Cut the edges of the small flaps on an angle and add Scor-Tape
Fold up and adhere to form the lids

Cut striped pattern paper to fit the box
Cut bunny paper to fit inside the box lids

On the exterior of the lids, cut pattern paper to fit

Add Scor-Tape around the three sides of one of the lids.

Cut lacey ribbon to fit and adhere in place, centering it so the beads are in the center of the opening

Fill with some goodies and give to someone special.

Remember to pop on over to the Scor-Pal blog and link up your projects.

Thanks for stopping by today.
