Hi everyone, I've got a new project on the
Proxxon blog using a wonderful assortment of Proxxon Tools.
I wanted a specific background so I drew the design I wanted to cut on a piece of wood, then used the Scroll Saw to cut the design. Next I used the Drill Press to add a hole in the top.
Once cut, I used the Delta Sander to make it smooth.
Then I had fun decorating it. I painted it with Plaid Dye, then cut Canvas Corp. 4th of July paper to fit the center panel. I matted it with cardstock, then adhered it to the panel.
Next, I cut fireworks and sparklers using my Cricut.
Then I die cut USA to fit across the panel.
Finally I added some jute and the sign was ready to hang.
What do you think?
Thanks for stopping by.
Steph
Awesome job Steph, gotta love the tools. I always say give me a tool for present instead of chocolates or flowers.
ReplyDeleteHow cool! This turned out so festive and fun. I enjoyed seeing photos of the process. Thanks for sharing Steph!
