Hi everyone, it's a new month and the challenge on the Scor-Pal blog is to create anything you want, just be sure it includes more than one score.
I've created a wonderful fairy scene in this month's card.It may look a bit fiddly, but it is so easy (and so much fun) to create.
Start by cutting white cardstock into 2 pieces, each 5 1/2" x 8 1/2".
Score both panels at 2 1/8", 4 1/4", 6 3/8".
Center an oval die on the 4 1/4" score line on one of the panels.
Die cut the panel. Save the die cut oval as you will need it to complete the card.
Using the 2nd panel, start creating your scene.
Use the 2 outer score lines as a guide to setting your scene.
Using the die cut panel, continue building your scene, using the back panel as a guide.
To assemble the card, I placed Scor Tape along both outer edges.
Since I wanted the ability to tie the card closed, I added a 6" strip of ribbon on the panels.
I adhered the left side of the card first.
Then folded the card over to complete the card.
For the card front, I stamped a phrase on the die cut oval and matted it with a larger die cut panel.
Striped cardstock was added to the card front and the die cut phrase was added next.
I am so happy with how this card turned out.
Thanks for stopping by.
