ClearScraps Adventure Panel

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman I've got a new project using the Clear Scraps April kit. This kit includes an acrylic panel and papers from Simple Stories and Photo Play.

The Clear Scraps 12" x 12" acrylic panels are perfect to use as a base for a scrapbook page or put it into a frame.

I used a sheet of Photo Play for the base, then layered lots of Simple Stories travel papers on top.  Using one photo, I surrounded it with a die cut title and a die cut cruise ship.

Makes me want to do some more traveling!!!

Happy 4th Cards with Clear Scraps

I'm on the Clear Scraps with a set of cards I created using the June kit.

This kit includes a chipboard mini album, acrylic sheets and a stencil as well as amazing papers from Photo Play.

Using white cardstock, I placed the stencil on top then spritzed with Tattered Angels Sky Mist.  By moving the stencil across the cardstock and re-spritzing you can get several backgrounds to use.

Cutting the cardstock to fit my card, I inked the edges and matted it with cardstock.  Then I punch out circles from the pattern paper, matted them with cardstock and added them to the card.  Die cutting a large oval from cardstock, I placed it on top of the circles and added the ice cream stickers on top.  The sentiment is from Joy Clair stamps.

This card uses pattern paper and stickers from the June kit.  As I wanted the fireworks to stand out, I place the No.1 sticker on cardstock and fussy cut it.  Then I placed it on the card with foam adhesives for dimension.  This way all of the elements take center stage.

For my next card, I took the spritzed panel vertically and added blue and red strips across the center.  A large oval was added and the balloon stickers placed on top.  "4th of July" was added to cardstock and fussy cut, then placed on the card with foam adhesives for dimension.

Clear Scraps Mini Album

I'm on the Clear Scraps blog today with a mini album created from the May kit.

Included with the May kit is a package of chip pennants.  I thought about creating a banner, but I decided to create a mini album instead.

I used the pennants as a template the cut the papers to fit.   Before adhering the papers I inked each with brown ink.

I love how this turned out.
