Autumn Leaves

Hi everyone, as we head into fall, it's time to start thinking of the changing colors and how pretty everything becomes.

Using scraps this card came together easily.  The background papers were assembled and then embossed.  A light layer of brown ink was used to show off the embossing.  Then a corrugated strip was added to the left side.

The leaves were also created from scraps of Makin's Clay in red, green, brown and white.  Mixing them together created a hodge podge of color which I ran through a clay machine.  Spellbinders dies cut the leaf shapes.  Makin's Clay Texture Sheets were used to add texture to the leaves.  I simply rolled over the Texture Sheets with a Makin's Clay Roller.

I placed the Autumn oval between the leaves and added a ribbon to the stems.

There you have it - a card created entirely from scraps.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Steph
