Scor-Pal Flip Card

 Hi everyone, it's time for a new Scor-Pal challenge.  Just create a project with more than one score.

Cut cardstock 9" x 6 1/2".

Score at 5".

Cut cardstock 3 1/2" x 7"

Score at 3 1/2"

For the front panel, cut striped panel for the exterior and a floral panel for the interior:

3 5/8" x 6 1/4"

For inside panel, cut white cardstock 4 3/4" x 6 1/4"

Cut striped panel 1" x 6 1/4"

For the smaller card:

cut striped panel for the interior and a floral panel for the exterior:

3 1/4" x 3 1/4"

Slip the smaller card under the white panel and adhere.

Cut another white panel 3 1/2" x 5 1/4".

Score at 1/4" on one each and cut into pennant shape at the other end.

Slip the 1/4" scored panel behind the white panel.

Decorate with floral panel.

Die cut 2 graduating scalloped circles and stamp a sentiment.

Adhere over the pennant shape.

Add a wood butterfly to the top of the scalloped circles.

Add a sentiment to the card base.

Add a wood flower to the small panel.

Die cut 2 graduating circles to fit the front of the smaller panel.

Stamp sentiment.

Die cut a scalloped border and add to the left side of the card.

Add a wood flower to the lower left corner.

Finish by adding some gem stones about the card.

Scor-Pal - Floating Card

Hi everyone, it's a new month and the challenge on the Scor-Pal blog is to create anything you want, just be sure it includes more than one score.

Supplies:
Scor Pal

Scor Tape

Heartfelt Creations stamp and die

Unity Stamp Company

Cut cardstock 11" x 5 3/4".

Score at 2", 4", 4 1/2", 6 1/2" 7", 9"

Between the 4" and 7" score lines, mark down 1" and score.

Repeat at the bottom.

Fold on the score lines (front side).

Back side.

Cut 8 black cardstock panels, each 5 5/8" x 1 7/8".

Cut 8 floral panels, each 5 1/2" x 1 3/4".

Assemble with Scor-Tape.

Place the panels on both sides of the scored card.

Place Scor-Tape within the scored lines of the popped up center panel.

Cut blue cardstock 4 1/4" x 8 1/2" and fold in half.

Center the card on the center panel.

Add 2 cardstock layers inside and stamp a sentiment.

Cut a 4 1/4" square of black cardstock for the front of the card.

Stamp, die cut and color the wishing well.

Add Stickles or Liquid Pearls for dimension.

Wishing you a Beautiful Day

Hi everyone, it's a new month and the challenge on the Scor-Pal blog is to create anything you want, just be sure it includes more than one score.

I've created a slim line card with a twist.  It wasn't what I started out to create, but I do like how it turned out.

Start by cutting cardstock 8 1/2" x 10 1/4"

Use Scor-Pal to score at 3 3/8 and 6 7/8" 

Fold on the score lines

Starting in the top corners, score the outer panels on the diagonal.

Cut pattern paper layers to fit all visible areas.

This is a great way to use assorted papers that coordinate well together.

Use the Stacker to keep your Scor-Tape handy which makes it easy to use.

Adhere all the pattern papers with Scor-Tape.

Die cut 2 ovals and the flower vines using TLC Designs Tiny Vine Oval Dies.  Also die cut the extra flowers from red cardstock to place on the vines.

Stamp a phrase in the center. of the oval.

Assemble the oval on the card front adhering just the left side.  

Die cut another oval and another set of vines for the interior of the card.

Stamp another phrase on the oval and surround it with the vine and flowers.

Add Robin's Nest dew drops to the flower centers.

Beautiful Purple Card

Hi everyone, I'm on the Rinea blog with a beautiful spring card in shades of purple.

Die cut Lavender Starstruck Foiled Paper using Sizzix floral shaped dies, then die cut the leaves using Emerald/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper.

Create a card from lavender cardstock.  Cut purple cardstock to fit.  Stamp a phrase on white cardstock.  Die cut the phrase and mat with progressively larger purple and white dies. 

Assemble and shape the flowers.  Adhere the flowers along the left side of the card.  Form the leaves and slip amongst the flowers.  Add 3 die cut circles in the opposite corner.

Happy Fall Friend

Hi everyone, it's officially Fall, my favorite season and I've created another slimline card using papers from the Papertemptress.com.

Using a Kat Scrappiness die, I die cut it from Plum Blossom Vine, using the non printed portion of the paper.  I decided to die cut it again with a Lawn Fawn die so it had a stitched edging around the perimeter.  Adhering the panel to a yellow cardstock, I stamped a script stamp randomly around the panel.  Then I mounted it on a purple card.

Using an assortment of Sizzis dies, I die cut fall embellishments, then added them to the card.

Stamping images from Unity Stamps, I colored them with Copic Markers, fussy cut and added them to the card.  The phrase is also from Unity Stamps.

Quick and Easy Christmas Projects - Day 1

Hi everyone.  Christmas will be here before we know it.  The last five years I've blogged about last minute Christmas ideas you could make in under 60 minutes.  Well, it's that time again and I've got some new projects to share.

Using etchallⓇ dip 'n etch, you can create some amazing ornaments.

Place the glass ornaments in a tray and cover with dip 'n etch.  Allow to sit 15 minutes then remove the ornaments.  Pour the dip 'n etch back into the original container (it's reusable!).  Wash and dry the ornaments.

Spritz the ornaments with Imagine's Fireworks Shimmery Craft Spray.

Carefully heat set the ornaments.

Using VersaFine Clair inks, stamp stars in each corner of the star shaped ornament then stamp a phrase in the center.

Stamp bow branches on the tree ornament.

Tie gold twine to the ornament and add to the tree or even to Christmas packages.

Give Thanks Cards with Arnold Grummer Papermaking Kits

Hi everyone, I'm on the Arnold Grummer blog with several cards created with the Arnold Grummer Papermaking Kit.

Did you know you can add items to the pulp to create an assortment of different papers?  Once I had the pulp ready, I added a sprinkling of botanicals.   But I could also have added leaves, angel wings or rosebuds or even mica flakes for different effects.  Once you pour out the pulp, just swirl the botanicals (or other items) so they spread around the paper.

Using a punch, I punched several leaves from my paper.

Next, I stamped and embossed on my paper.  Your paper can be stamped and heat embossed for amazing effects.

I created a 5 1/2" square card, then cut the handmade paper to fit.  Then I added the elements and used mini paper clips to clip the punched leaves to the card.

For my second card, I created a 5 1/2" card and placed a striped panel on the card.  

I used a scrap of handmade paper from which I punched another 3 leaves.  I backed this piece with cardstock then added it atop the remaining torn paper which was inked with brown ink.  

Next, I placed the 3 punched leaves back in their spots, using foam adhesives for dimension.  Another stamped and embossed panel was added to the card.

Doesn't handmade paper create amazing cards?

Beautiful Birthday Wishes

Hi everyone, it's a new month and the challenge on the ScorPal blog is to create a birthday cards.

Cut cardstock 5 1/2" x 11".  Using Scor-Buddy, score at 5 1/2" creating a square card.  Score every 1/8" across the card to create the background.

Using assorted pattern papers, die cut 3 circles for the front of the card and cut off the left edges.

Mix and match 3 flowers and add to the card with a jewel brad.  Add a stamped phrase to the card.
