ScorPal Owl Friendship

Hi everyone, it's time for a new Scor-Pal challenge.  Just create a project with more than one score.

Supplies: Scor-Pal, Scor-Tape

Stamps:  Heartfelt Creations, Hero Arts

I created a similar card a year or so ago and wanted to try it again with a different effect.

Cut cardstock 6" x 12".

With the 12" length at the edge, score at 4" and 8".

Cut along the 2 scored lines as shown - 3" at the left side and 4 1/2" at the right side.

Rotating the panel and placing the straight edge across the channel, score at 1/4" and 11 3/4".

These will be used for the tabs.

To create the 2 tabs, cut along the 1/4" edges as shown, leaving about 1/2" for the tab.

Fold along the scored lines.

Score 1/2" from the right edge of the center panel at the tab area.

Fold the left panel towards the center and lightly mark where the tab meets the panel at the 1/2" score line.  Cut along the mark so the tab can slip inside.

When the tab is inserted, this creates the bowed effect.

Do the same so the smaller panel's tab can slip inside.

Cut white cardstock 4" x 6", or at least long enough so you have some excess once your fussy cut around the image.

Stamp and emboss the owls along the top edge and color with Copic Markers.

Fussy cut around the stamped image and ink the panel with brown ink.

Adhere the panel to the card then fussy cut the card around the owls.

Cut the outer flaps into your desired shape, softening the straight edges.

Stamp and emboss a phrase just under the owls.

Stamp and emboss a second phrase, inking the edges and adhere it to the smaller flap.

Finish by adding rhinestones about the card.

Happy Spring Decor

 Hello everyone and happy Spring.

Supplies:  Paint:  Plaid Folk Art Paints

Stamps and Dies:  Heartfelt Creations

Ink:  Ranger Distress Ink

Metal Embellishments from Dollar Tree

Wood Embellishments from Hobby Lobby

Lightly sand the metal shaped jar.

Paint with blue.

Once dry, lightly re-sand to let some of the silver show through the paint.

Paint a metal envelope with yellow paint.

While still wet, lightly blot with a paper towel.

Also paint the wood bird.

Wrap twine around the top of the jar using hot glue to hold it in place.

Hot glue the envelope to the jar on an angle.

Stamp, die cut and ink the flowers and leaves, then place them in and about the envelope.

Tie a watering can to the metal word, then add the word using hot glue.

Add additional flowers and leaves as needed.

Ink the butterflies and adhere, along with the bird.

Finally, add Stickles to the flower centers as well as the butterflies.

Masculine Happy Birthday Card

Hi everyone, sharing a masculine birthday card today.

It can be somewhat stressful creating masculine cards.

I've used Heartfelt Creations stamps and Distress Oxide Inks.

The barn was stamped in black ink and embossed.

Distress Oxide Inks created the background.

Mat with black cardstock and add to a kraft card.

Autumn Blessings Pallet

 Hi everyone, sharing a fall pallet today.

Supplies:  Fairy Hugs Magical Hollow

Spellbinders

Heartfelt Creations

TLC Designs

Liquid Pearls

Wood Pallet

Create a wonderful Fall themed pallet with assorted dies.

Use the 2 TLC dies, cut the largest from wordy paper and the next from plain cardstock.

Ink with distress inks and then adhere to the pallet.

Die cut the tree from brown cardstock.

Ink it with brown ink and emboss. As it dries, the tree rolls into shape.

Die cut leaves using Heartfelt Creations dies and Rinea foiled papers.

Add a piece of burlap on the pallet under the leaves.

Adhere the leaves around the tree, forming into shape.

Die cut the lantern and place atop the panel with foam adhesives.

Add colored leaves to the base leaf spray and insert some twigs with berries.

Stamp and emboss Autumn Blessings, die cutting and matting with a larger die.

Die cut mini pumpkins and place around the lantern.

Perfect Fall decoration don't you think!

Masculine Birthday Card

 Hi everyone, need a masculine birthday card?  Then, I've got one to share.

Stamps:  Heartfelt Creations

Inks: Oxide Inks Blue Jeans,Tea Dye, Hickory Smoke

Stamp the barn on a panel of white using black ink.

Add color to the sky with Blue Jeans and Hickory Smoke.

Add color to the ground using Tea Dye.

Mat the panel with black cardstock and adhere to a brown card.

Stamp Happy Birthday and ink with Blue Jeans.

Mat with black cardstock and add to the card.

BPM - Slimline Box Card

 Hi everyone, I'm using some amazing stamps from Blank Page Muse to create a box card.

You Make Me Happy

Dies:  Anna Griffin, Heartfelt Creations

Using the Anna Griffin die, die cut yellow cardstock to create the box and box top.

Cut assorted papers to fit the box top.

Die cut the filigree panel to finish the box top, ink all layers.

Stamp the phrase on the top layer and surround with flowers.

Use the same dies inside the box.

Stamp, color and fussy cut the hummingbird and flowers.

This is a perfect box card to include a gift card.

Using a window die, determine where the elements will appear.

Stamp in various shades of Distress Oxide Inks.

Create a card from 2 shades of blue cardstock.

Adhere the window panes, then add the window box panel on top using glue dots for dimension.

Cut another window box, then place flower swirls from the window box.

Stamp Relax, Enjoy under the window.

Scor-Pal - Floating Card

Hi everyone, it's a new month and the challenge on the Scor-Pal blog is to create anything you want, just be sure it includes more than one score.

Supplies:
Scor Pal

Scor Tape

Heartfelt Creations stamp and die

Unity Stamp Company

Cut cardstock 11" x 5 3/4".

Score at 2", 4", 4 1/2", 6 1/2" 7", 9"

Between the 4" and 7" score lines, mark down 1" and score.

Repeat at the bottom.

Fold on the score lines (front side).

Back side.

Cut 8 black cardstock panels, each 5 5/8" x 1 7/8".

Cut 8 floral panels, each 5 1/2" x 1 3/4".

Assemble with Scor-Tape.

Place the panels on both sides of the scored card.

Place Scor-Tape within the scored lines of the popped up center panel.

Cut blue cardstock 4 1/4" x 8 1/2" and fold in half.

Center the card on the center panel.

Add 2 cardstock layers inside and stamp a sentiment.

Cut a 4 1/4" square of black cardstock for the front of the card.

Stamp, die cut and color the wishing well.

Add Stickles or Liquid Pearls for dimension.

Mermaid Booklet

 Hi everyone, I have another Fairy Stamper project to share.  

I created a book shaped card using Heartfelt Creations dies.

I first die cut all the pages of my "book", then stamped the sea elements on a Fairy Hugs Fairy Scapes background paper.

Clear Scraps Christmas Ornament

Hi everyone, I'm on the Clear Scraps blog working with the Bulb Medium DIY Pallet Shape.

At approximately 8" x 10", this ornament is a perfect Christmas decor piece.

Using  the Jolly Variety Foiled Pack from Rinea Foiled Papers, I selected Silver Starstruck, Ruby Starstruck and Ruby Glossy.  I traced the bulb on the foils to get the shapes I wanted.

I adhered the pieces in place and trimmed away any excess paper.

To decorate, I die cut poinsettias from Ruby/Gold Glossy and Emerald Starstruck Foiled Papers, then adhered them to the left side of the panel.  The sweet phrase was die cut from Silver Starstruck and Gold/Glossy Foiled Papers then placed among the poinsettias.

To accent the phrase, Emerald/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper was added to the leaves and Liquid Pearls were added to simulate berries.     Liquid Pearls were also to the centers of the pointsettias then added around the entire panel.
