Oh Happy Day

 Hi everyone, today's post is a sweet card created from elements on my craft table.

I had paper remaining from a project I created using the Arnold Grummer Papermaking kit.  The paper was perfect for my image.  I colored her with markers.

Using Lawn Fawn dies, I cut the image, adding it to assorted papers placed atop a red card.  Ribbon was tied between the layers.

A sweet phrase was stamped, punched and added to the right corner.

Christmas Shaker Cards

Hi everyone, I've got  a new set of Christmas Shaker cards on the Arnold Grummer Papermaking blog.

I've used left over papers from other projects.  For each card, I used the remaining die cut panels and frayed the edges.

I adhered a plastic sheet to each panel, and Using my MISTI, I stamped phrases in the lower corner with StazOn ink.  Using the MISTI ensured that if I had to restamp the phrase that it would line up correctly.

I placed foam tape around the panels and placed dew drops in the cavities before adhering the backing.

Finally I added flowers and leaves to the corners.

Merry Christmas Cards

Hi everyone, I'm on the Arnold Grummer blog with Christmas cards.

To create the truck card, emboss a pink panel with a holly embossing folder.  Lightly ink with VersaFine green.

Stamp and die cut the tree and packages from green paper and the truck from pink.  Stamp the phrase on pink.

Die cut a larger circle from green paper and add to the center of the card.  Color the tree and packages and assemble the card with foam adhesives for dimension.

Die cut the phrase and add to the upper corner.  Create berries using enamel dots.

 For the ornament card, emboss a pink panel with a different holly embossing folder.

Ink the holly leaves with green ink.  Add red enamel dots for the berries.

Die cut and emboss ornaments.

Ink ornaments and use red enamel dots along the bottom edge.  Add the holly panel to a green card.  Add twine to the ornament and add the ornament with foam adhesives for dimension.

Handmade Christmas Tags

Hi everyone, I'm on the Arnold Grummer blog sharing Christmas Tags using handmade papers.

Cut handmade papers into 3" x 8" panels.  Emboss each with an embossing folder, then run assorted colors of VersaFine Clair inkpads across each.

Wrap velvet ribbon around each tag.  Die cut scalloped panels and adhere to each tag.  Die cut scalloped ovals, ink the edges and place on top of the scalloped panels with foam adhesives for dimension.

Stamp phrases on a smaller oval in black ink and adhere to the tags.  Finally, staple ribbons to each tag and attach to your Christmas packages.

Blog Hopping with Arnold Grummer and Club Scraps

Welcome to my stop on the Falling for Handmade Paper blog hop! Today we have a dozen talented bloggers sharing projects featuring handmade paper using Arnold Grummer's Papermaking kits paired with Club Scrap's Falling Leaves collection. I created a mini purse that comes with a surprise inside!

Create the purse from red cardstock.   Instructions for the purse can be found here.  Cut a selection of leaf papers to fit the panels, both inside and out.  Once you create and assemble the pockets, the purse comes alive.

Make paper using one of the Arnold Grummer Papermaking Kits.  Using portions of some of the papers from the Club Scraps Falling Leaves Page Kit, I created my pulp, mixing in some Brilliants for Paper, then used the Garden Press and blotters to dry the papers I created.  

Once the papers dried, I stamped assorted leaves and sentiments using Club Scraps Falling Leaves Stamps.

I fussy cut some of the leaves, and die cut several phrases.  Handmade papers stamps and die cuts as easily as regular paper.

I created 4 cards using assorted papers, ribbons and stamps.

And the surprise is that the four cards (as well as the envelopes) fit inside the pockets of the purse.  

Add a Velcro dot to the closure tab to close the purse.  Wouldn't this make a fun gift?

You are so Thoughtful

Hi everyone, I'm on the Arnold Grummer blog sharing a new winged card using handmade papers.

Using some premade papers, I selected 3 different colors - pink, purple, and red.

The wings are so delicate and I die cut them from a purple paper.

The hearts were die cut from pink paper.

Using VersaFine Clair Inks and an art dauber, I added color to the images.

A purple panel was also die cut and lightly inked.  It was placed atop white cardstock, then again on lavender and white panels before being added to a purple card.

The pink center panel was also die cut then added to the card with foam adhesives for dimension.  The wings and heart were added on top.

The phrase was stamped and die cut from red paper, then added slightly under the right wing.

Handmade Paper Cards with Arnold Grummer

Hi everyone, I've got a new post on the Arnold Grummer blog.

Using assorted papers created with the papermaking kits, I created 2 cards.

Handmade paper stamps and die cuts just as easily as any other papers.   Using VersaFine black ink I stamped the images and heat set.  Then I used the coordinating dies to die cut the design.

Using a different die, I die cut another piece of handmade paper - look at all those details.

I chose another paper for the background of my cards, then assembled them using Scor-Tape.

I used Glue Dots to adhere the center elements to the cards.

Comfort Card with Arnold Grummer Papermaking Kits

Hi everyone, my newest post  on the Arnold Grummer blog is a comfort card.

Using  one of the Arnold Grummer's Papermaking Kits, I created an assortment of handmade papers. Once the papers completely dried, I chose one to create with and cut it to 4" x 5 1/4".  I taped the  Bare Trees Meal Stencil from Stampendous on my handmade paper.  Using a pallet knife I  added modeling paste over the stencil.

Carefully removing the tape, I removed the stencil while still wet.  I quickly rinsed off the stencil to remove any trace of the modeling paste.

While still wet, I poured Stampendous Twinkle Glitter across the tree tops and put it aside to dry.

For a touch of color, I spritzed Bamboo Leaves Fireworks! Shimmery Craft Spray along the bottom of the card.

Using a scrap piece of handmade paper, I stamped a sentiment from Stampendous -  Encouraging Words - with VersaFine Pinecone Ink.

The panel was lightly inked and then added to a card base.  The phrase was added with pop dots for dimension.
