OH Happy Day!!!!!

Hi everyone, I created a bright and cheery card today.

Use Taperunner to add lines of tape across a panel of cardstock.

Pour on assorted Fairy Hugs Glitter, allowing them to mix across the panel.  Brush off the excess glitter.

Mat the glittered panel with pink and navy cardstocks before adding to a pink card.

Stamp the image, die cut it and mat with a scalloped circle.  Add to left side of the card.  Stamp a phrase and add it across the image.

Thanks for stopping by.

Sweet Tulip Fairy Card

Hi everyone, I'm on the Dies R Us blog with this sweet fairy card.

Placing the Lavinia stamp -  Moments Like These on the Misti stamp her on white cardstock using assorted colors of ink.

Using the coordinating Fairy Cuts - Tulip Fairy and die cut her.

Using Misty Morning background paper, ink Lavinia Fairy Words in VersaFine Clair Morning Mist Ink, stamp on scrap paper first , then stamp along the right side for a subtle effect.

Mat the panel with white cardstock, then add it to a blue card.  Place the Tulip Fairy in the left corner.  Using a glue pen, add dots of glue around the panel then pour on Fairy Hugs Silver Lightning Glitter.

Sweet isn't she?

Please stop by the Dies R Us Store for all the supplies I've used today.

Don't Let Life Dull Your Sparkle

Hi everyone, it's Thursday and my day to share another Fairy Stamper project.

I began by stamping 3 Toadstools on the left side of the card, masking each for dimension.  Then I used Distress Oxide in Bundled Sage to create the hills under the mushrooms.

To create the sky, I  used Distress Oxide in Speckled Egg and Faded Jeans.

The panel was die cut and matted with white cardstock before being added to a blue card.  Dragonflies from the Bugs stamp set were stamped around the toadstools.  I also stamped a hedgehog from the Wallace Family in the lower corner.

Using a Quickie Glue Pen, I added dots of glue on the toadstools, hedgehog and dragonflies.  Then I poured on Fairy Hugs Glitter in Silver Lightning.  Love the effect, don't you?  Finally, I stamped the Sparkle stamp on a scrap of the background paper and added it to the card.

Fairy Thankful

Hi everyone, it's Thursday and my day to share another Fairy Stamper project.

Using a Lavinia Stencil - Foliage - I created a very subtle background using Oxide Inks in Tattered Rose and Bundled Sage.

I stamped the Fairy Hive using VersaFine Clair Ink in Morning Mist.  Then I inked around the edges with Bundled Sage and VersaFine Clair Ink in Shady Lane.

After inking the edges further with Oxide Ink ink Black Soot, I matted it with green cardstock before adding to a black card.

The Fairy Chain was  also stamped with Morning Mist Ink and then embossed.  I'm thinking they are quite thankful they are able to be together today.

To finish I die cut thankful twice and added it to the card.

Thanks for stopping by.

Fairy Hugs - Dancing Mushrooms

Hi everyone, so excited to be sharing that several of the cards I created for Fairy Hugs were part of the British Craft TV Hochanda on October 6.  The new Fairy Hugs stamps were being showcased and I'm excited to see my designs and those of my fellow teammates.

You can watch Hochanda here:  https://www.hochanda.com/

I've used the sweet Dancing Mushrooms.

The stamps are available here: https://www.fairyhugs.com/collections/stamps

Using the MISTI, I started by inking the Dancing Mushrooms in VersaFine Clair in Shady Lade and Lady Bug, then stamped on white cardstock.

Wanting a fun shape for this card, I die cut the stamped image with a Spellbinders die.  While still in the die, I inked around the mushrooms with Distress Oxide Ink in Speckled Egg.

I wanted a white border around the stamped images.

Using the next larger die, I created the card.  Since the shape was cut off the top, I die cut another full layer and adhered it to the card.

Applying some glue to the mushroom caps, I added Fairy Hugs Silver Glitter.

Finally, I die cut thankful and added it across the mushrooms.

Thanks for stopping by.

Embrace Your Dreams Slim Line Card

Hi everyone, I've got a new slim line card to share today.

I've created a video of my process which I hope you'll check out:

I've used an assortment of Lavinia Stamps - Creeping Vine and Embrace Your Dreams along with Oliver, a Fairy Hugs stamp.

Starting with white cardstock, I inked it with Distress Inks in Lemonade, Dried Marigold and Tattered Rose blending the colors.  Next, I repeatedly stamped the Creeping Vine along the top of the card using Versa Fine Clair Ink in Morning Mist.

Around the edges of the card I inked Black Soot, then went over the edges again with Dusty Concord Ink.  Placing an acrylic circle in the right corner, I inked a moon with Dusty Concord.  Placing a line of glue around the moon, I poured on Fairy Hugs Iris Glitter.

Using Versa Fine Clair in Nocturne Ink, I stamped the phrase in the left corner.  Oliver was also inked with Nocturne Ink, fussy cut, then added on the moon with Glue Dots for dimension.

The panel was then adhered to a navy card but I could have used a green card, a gray card or even a purple card.

Would love to know what you think.

Thanks for stopping by.

Lavinia World Challenge #32

Hi everyone, it's time for the next challenge at Lavinia World Challenges.  Please check it out and join in the fun.

I love Moments Like These as she seems so serene siting by herself.   I envisioned her sitting in a flower strewn meadow so I created a background using Lindy's Shimmer Sprays in Glory of the Seas, Marigold, and Drop Dead Gorgeous Green.  Before spritzing the green, I used a torn strip of paper to help create the hillside.

I stamped the fairy on the hillside using VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink.  Mini Flowers were stamped on the hillside in VersaFine Clair Blue Bell and VersaFine Clair Paradine Inks.  Slender Mushrooms were stamped off the edge with Nocturne Ink.

To fill in the space in the upper right, I used the Words of Spring stamp with VersaFine Clair Summertime Ink.  I wanted the words to be subtle and not overpowering.

Next, I added stickles to her wings and the tulips.  Finally, I added dots of glue randomly about the flowers on the hillside and poured on  Fairy Hugs Silver Lightening Glitter.

Isn't she lovely?

Would love to see what you create for Challenge #32.  The winner of the challenge will receive a
$15 gift certificate to Lavinia World to shop for more goodies.   Remember there is a new challenge every other Thursday.  Can't wait to see what you create.
