Snow Day Mini Album

Hi everyone, I'm on the Rinea blog with a mini album today.  This 4x4 chipboard album is perfect to showcase a specific event.  In my case, I chose to document a snow day.

Start by cutting Sapphire/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper to fit each panel.  

Then cut Silver/Silver Starstruck as well as another layer of Sapphire/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper smaller and adhere together on each panel.

Punch snowflakes from Silver/Silver Starstruck and Turquoise/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper.  The foils punch out easily and create amazing snowflakes.

Die cut letters spelling snow day from Silver Starstruck and adhere to the front cover.  Glue snowflakes together and adhere about the front cover, using snowflakes for the "O".

Cut and adhere photos to each panel, adding additional snowflakes to each panel.

Punch holes in each panel and tie together with ribbon that is also used as the hanger.

Hang up and enjoy.

Bon Voyage with Fairy Stamper

Hi everyone, it's Thursday and my day to share another Fairy Stamper project. 

This amazing Fairy Hugs Stamp - Stream Scene has lots of possibilities.  I chose to color the scene with Copic Markers.

Once colored, I inked the edges with Ranger Distress Oxide Ink - Faded Jeans, then matted the panel with blue and brown cardstocks before being added to the card.

I stamped the Fairy Hugs Leafy Canoe with VersaFine Clair Acorn Ink, and decided to fussy cut it.  I also restamped the fussy cut the flowers and added them back to the canoe with brads.

Bon Voyage was printed, punched and added to a larger scalloped punch oval.

Valentine's Day Treat Bags with TLC Designs

Hi everyone, I've got a quick and easy Valentine's Day project to share using some fun stamps and dies from TLC Designs.

It's almost Valentine's Day and that means it's time for little treats for the "kids" in your life, no matter how old they are!

I used the Apple A Day Die which consists of 14 dies that can be used in so many different ways.  I selected the 2 frame dies in this set, using the largest die with cardstock and the next die with pattern papers from the Soft Blush Digital Paper Pack,  Krafty & Sweet Digital Paper Pack, and the Perfectly Precious Digital Slimline Paper Pack.

Scoring the cardstock and pattern papers in half, I adhered them together to create treat toppers.

 I filled treat bags with Conversation Heart candies then, punching holes in the toppers and the treat bags, I tied them together with ribbon.  They definitely are pretty as is, but I wanted to go a little further.

Using left over cardstock, I die cut the included scalloped die which I was going to use as a base for my phrases.

Using stamps from Sweetie The Dragon stamp set, I stamped the phrases on the scalloped die cuts.  I also used a phrase from the Happy Bouquet Digital Flower Stamp.

  The phrases were then placed atop the treat topper with foam adhesives for dimension.

Mini Wood Card

Hi everyone, I'm on the Clear Scraps blog using a wood card and chipboard word title.

With Valentine's Day near, this is a perfect card to send to someone special.  The card is approximately 3 3/4" x 5 3/4".   2 wood pieces are included along with 2 drilled holes, so you can turn it into a mini album if desired.  Ink the panel with red ink.

Cut pattern paper to fit the back panel.  Ink with brown ink and adhere to the back panel.

Using brown ink and a background stamp, stamp off on scrap paper first then stamp onto the top panel.  This created a slightly distressed effect.

Ink around the edges with brown ink.

Ink the Love chipboard word with red ink and spritz with spray ink.  Once dry, ink around the edges with brown ink, then adhere to the front cover.

Use ribbon to hold the card together.  

Consider cutting pages to fit and filling with love notes or poems before adding the ribbon.

Never Give Up with Blank Page Muse

Hi everyone, I'm on the Blank Page Muse blog  with a wish that you never give up, no matter what is going on in your life.

Supplies:

Blank Page Muse Stamp:  Vintage Transportation Steampunk Art
White, Black and Brown Cardstock
Die: Spellbinders
Markers:  Copic Markers

Stamp one of the airships and one of  the phrase on white cardstock.
Die cut each image and mat with brown cardstock.
Color the airship with Copic Markers.

Create card layers from scraps of pattern papers and mat with tan cardstock.

Adhere the airship to the center of the card and place the phrase in the corner.

Wedding card

Hi everyone, today's post is a wedding card for a dear friend.

I created the card from white cardstock using a die from Crafter's Companion.  I love that it creates a shaped edging.  I also die cut the top panel from red cardstock.

I adhered pattern paper across the card, then added a stamped and die cut phrase to the center.

Inside I added the same pattern paper to finish off the card.

Dream Slim line card

Hi everyone, it's Thursday and my day to share another Fairy Stamper project. 

I created a card from blue cardstock, then die cut peach cardstock using a slim line die.

In the center of each opening, I stamped the Condo Dwellers in black ink.  The fairies were perfectly sized for the openings.

I accessorized by adding die cut vines using Rinea Emerald Starstruck Foil, then used brads to adhere blue flowers.

Dream was die cut and added to the corner of the card.

Friendship Card with TLC Designs

 Hi everyone, I've got a new card to share using some fun dies from TLC Designs.

I've used the Oval Lily Frame die.  This die set comes  7 different dies.

I die cut the largest oval frame from green cardstock and the nested oval from white cardstock.  I love the faux stitching - it creates such a fun effect.

A phrase was stamped on the white nested oval.  The sweet little flowers were die cut from purple cardstock and the flower centers from lavender cardstock.  They were then placed around the phrase.

The card was created from green cardstock and a floral layer was added.  So the sweet Oval Lily Frame stood out, I placed a strip of purple cardstock across the card, then placed the Oval Lily Frame on top with foam adhesives for dimension.

Now just fluff out the flowers a bit and you have a fabulous card.

Happy Valentine's Day Candy Bar Wrapper

Hi everyone, it's a new month and the challenge on the Scor-Pal blog is to create anything you want, just be sure it includes more than one score.

Cut black cardstock 5 1/2" x 5 3/4".  Place the 5 1/2" edge at the top channel.

Score at 5", 4 3/4", 2 1/4", 2".
Fold along all scored lines.

Cut 12" length of ribbon.   Use Scor-Tape to adhere the ribbon to the front panel only.  Cut pattern paper and cardstock to fit the front.  Adhere the layers with Scor-Tape over the ribbon.

Also use Scor-Tape to add pattern paper inside the wrapper.

Stamp and die cut the oval for the front panel.

Place the candy bar inside then tie the ribbon at the bottom to close.   The candy bar can either simply slide out, or you can undo the ribbon and open the wrapper (which I think is a much better idea, don't you?)
