You are Never.....Card

It's mid month and that means it's time for another Clearsnap Color Challenge. This week we were asked to use Wicked Black, Lime Pastel and Frost White. Enter here for a chance to win some great prizes.

This was a fun card to make:
I used the Cuttlebug Script Embossing Folder which I inked with Frost White Ink before inserting my black cardstock. This provided a reverse embossed feature.

I added Top Boss Clear Embossing Powder over the entire embossed piece. Since the Frost White Ink stays wet longer than archival ink, I had plenty of time to emboss and heat set.

Using a Hero Arts stamp, I inked it with Lime Pastel Ink then stamped it on green cardstock. This produced a nice tone on tone effect.

After embossing with Top Boss Clear Embossing Powder, I ran Frost White Ink across the image, then wiped away some of the ink. The embossing powder acted as a resist and subtle sections of White Ink remained behind.

I then assembled my card and added brads in some of the flower centers. A Stampin Up stamp was used as the sentiment in the lower right. This was stamped with Wicked Black Archival Ink, then embossed with Top Boss Clear Embossing Powder.

Thanks for looking and don't forget to enter the Challenge.
