Birdsong

I have always loved collaged images and when I found this Hero Arts stamp recently, I knew it would be fun to take it apart and rebuild it in different colors. It's really quite fun to do and with Clearsnap's line of inks, it's amazing how beautiful the image can turn out.

Stamp the image three times in Guacamole, Red Barn and Blackbird Ink. Add Clear Embossing Powder on each image and heat set. Using the Guacamole image as the main image, cut apart the other two images, selecting specific sections to use. The clock and mail tag were cut from the Blackbird image and the bird and flower were cut from the Red Barn image.

The clock, mail tag and flower were adhered to the main image using Glue Gloss and foam dimensionals were added behind the bird for a 3D effect. Tearing around the main image, it was then inked with Guacamole Ink.

GCD Studio Antiquities papers were used behind the stamped image and 3 brads were strategically placed as both design features as well as to anchor the main stamped image in place. Firecracker Smooch Glitz was painted on the flower to add a hint of shimmer.

Cutting a piece of cardstock to fit the interior of the card, the sentiment was stamped with Red Barn Ink and then heat set with Clear Embossing Powder.
