Using etchall dip 'n etch liquid, I etched assorted pieces of glassware to use for baby shower decorations. Since I wanted both inside and outside of each piece etched, I filled the bottles with dip 'n etch and then placed them in a container and poured additional dip 'n etch in the container.
I also placed the smaller jars in a container of dip 'n etch. I let the glassware sit in the dip 'n etch for 15 minutes, then I poured the dip 'n etch back into it's original container. Since dip 'n etch is reusable, there is no waste.
Dip 'n etch darkens over time, as mine has, but that doesn't impact it's etching ability.
Don't they look amazing?
Once etched, the glassware can be decorated as desired. In keeping with the baby shower theme, I wrapped the small jars with Rinea Blush/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper and Turquoise/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper and added Silver Starstruck Foiled Paper on the tops.
Bows, created with the Bowdabra, were added to the jars in the basket and baby elements were added to each. There's a secret in each jar but you'll have to attend the baby shower to find out the results!
Thanks for stopping by.
