Take Flight, Happy Falll with Rinea Foils

Hi everyone, I'm on the Rinea blog today with a mixed media panel.

Start by spritzing a canvas board with assorted colors of Fireworks! Shimmery Craft Sprays, heat setting between each color.

Die cut a leafy panel from Emerald/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper.  Look at all those details.

Adhere to the panel with Mod Podge.

Allow the panel to dry, then randomly add gesso.

Spritz with additional colors of Fireworks! Shimmery Craft Sprays.  Heat set between the colors.

Use StazOn Pigment Ink in Chocolate to ink around the edges of the panel.  Also run the ink pad across the panel.   StazOn is a permanent ink and is perfect for slick surfaces such as these foils.

Die cut leaves from Ruby Starstruck, Emerald/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper and Copper Starstruck.  Ink the leaves with both StazOn Chocolate and Shamrock Green inks.   I had some lovely little Lavinia World Fairies and thought they would be great behind the windows in the leaves.

The phrase was stamped on a scrap of Gold/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper with StazOn Piano Black Ink.

Assemble the panel, placing the leaves on an angle.  Cut apart the phrase and mat with Ebony/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper before adhering it to the panel.

Finally I die cut happy fall from Ebony/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper using a Lawn Fawn Die.

What do you think?

Thanks for stopping by.

Steph
