Valentine's Day Candy Box

Hi everyone, time for a new challenge at ScorPal and I wanted to share a fun candy box with you today.

This sweet box can be created for any number of occasions.  Think Valentine's Day, birthdays, holidays, and even party favors.  Just change up your papers based on your theme.

Cut black cardstock 6 1/8" x 11 1/4".
Score at 2 1/4", 4 1/2", 6 3/4" and 9".
Cut 10 panels of red cardstock, each 2 1/8" x 6".
Cut 10 panels of  pattern paper, each 2" x 5 3/4".

Add the panels together and adhere to both sides of the black cardstock.

Create the boxes by cutting red cardstock 5 1/8" x 5 1/8".
Score 1 1/2" around the panel.
Cut on the score line on all 4 edges.
Fold up and adhere with ScorTape.

Starting on the 2nd panel, adhere the first box in place.
Stack the other 3 boxes and adhere in place.

To create the top, cut black cardstock 5 3/4" x 5 3/4".
Score at 3/4", 1 5/8", 4 1/8", 5 inch.
Rotate and repeat.
Cut in the edges, fold the boxes and adhere.
Cut strips of red cardstock to fit the sides.
Cut red cardstock 2" x 2" to fit top.

Cut a burlap panel to fit the box top.
Add buttons to finish.

Die cut 3 sizes of ovals; stamp a phrase on the smallest and adhere to the box front.

Fill with candy or other little treats.

Please stop by the Scor-Pal blog to see what all the designers have been creating.

Thanks for stopping by.
