Quick and Easy Christmas Projects Day 7

 Hi everyone.  Christmas will be here before we know it.  The last six years I've blogged about last minute Christmas ideas you could make in under 60 minutes.  Well, it's that time again and I've got some new projects to share.

Using white gift bags as a base, I adhered pattern paper to each, then stamped and die cut a Christmas image from Crackerbox_Suzy stamps.

Fold over the top edge of the bags, then punch holes.  Add Noel, another stamp from Crackerbox_Suzy stamps, to the lower corner.   Add Liquid Pearls to the stamped image representing berries. 

Run ribbon through the holes and tie closed (after first placing some candies or small gifts inside).

Happy Holidays with RInea and Crackerbox

Hi everyone, I'm on the Rinea blog today and this month we are creating with Crackerbox/Suzy Stamps.  It's time to create some holiday cards.

Silver/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper and Saphire/Saphire Starstruck were cut to size then embossed with a Christmas Cuttlebug embossing folder.  I used a piece of sandpaper to lightly sand the embossed words giving both panels a slightly distressed appearance.

Using black ink, I stamped the Christmas Birdhouse on 2 pieces of white cardstock.  One of the images was die cut with a Spellbinders oval die and one was cut into a rectangle shape.  Both images were colored with Copic Markers and then inked with oxide inks.  

Ranger Liquid Pearls were used to color the ornaments on the oval image. 

The Silver panel was matted with Emerald/Emerald Starstruck Foiled Paper then adhered to a white card.  A glittery ribbon was wrapped around the card and the oval image, which had been matted with Sapphire/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper ,was added to the card with foam adhesives for dimension.

Small snowflakes were die cut from Silver/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper and added about the card.  Nuvo Crystal Drops were used to create the snow under the tree and on the branches.

My next card uses the rectangle image which was matted with Silver Foiled Paper then adhered to the card.

Nuvo Drops were used to simulate the snow and the snowflakes about the card.

Dashing through the snow....

Hi everyone, I'm on the Rinea blog today and we are collaborating with Crackerbox/Suzy stamps this month.

Using the Carolers stamp, I inked it with black ink and stamped it onto white cardstock, then used blue ink to add color around the image.

Using Spellbinders/APG dies, I die cut Ruby/Ruby Starstruck Foiled Paper and Silver/Silver Starstruck Foiled Paper along with green cardstock to create a fun shaped card.

The Ruby die cut panel was adhered to the Silver panel, then adhered to the green card.  The Carolers were matted with Gold/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper  and  then adhered to the card.

Dashing through the snow was stamped on a scrap of cardstock, curled with my fingers, then added to the card.

A small snowflake die was used to die cut Silver/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper and the snowflakes were then added around the top of the stamped image.

Snowman Tags

Hi everyone, I'm on the Clear Scraps blog with a set of Christmas tags today.

The Chipboard Tag Album has 4 different shaped tags that can be used together for a shaped mini album, or can be used separately as I did to create different shaped tags.  

Selecting 2 tags, I inked them with green ink.  I also inked the Noel Chipboard Word Title to coordinate with the pattern paper I was planning to use.

Using the tags as stencils, I drew on the pattern paper and then cut the papers to fit the tags.

Next, I inked the edges of the paper with the same green ink and adhered them to the tags.

The Noel Chipboard Word Title was adhered to one of the tags on a slight angle.

Dashing through the snow...., a Crackerbox/Suzy stamp, was stamped with black ink, matted,  and adhered to the second tag with foam adhesives for dimension.

They would look really great on larger packages or hanging from the tree.  Turn the tags over and create a pocket to fit a gift card or even some cash!!

Aren't they sweet?
