Fairy Stamper Shell Door

Hi everyone, I have another Fairy Stamper project to share.

I created a gate fold card, using the FH Shell Door as the focal point.  To decorate the front  panels, I stamped FH Fish School, several different colors of FH Fan Coral, then FH Frilly Seaweed.  One of the FH Chess Mushrooms  was then added to the corner.

The Shell Door was stamped and colored then fussy cut.  So it stood out even more, I adhered it to black cardstock and fussy cut it again, then adhered just the left portion to the card.  Then I stamped FH Marina so she appears to be swimming towards the Shell Door,

For the inside, I stamped the FH Rope Net in brown ink, then stamped the FH Sea Quote on top in blue ink for contrast.

Thanks for stopping by.

Interactive Card with Fairy Hugs Stamps

Hi everyone, I'm so excited to share my newest Fairy Stamper project.

I used the TLC Designs See You in the Center Interactive Die, and created a vertical card.  This die set includes everything you need to create a pretty interactive card, either vertical or horizontal.

After die cutting the center panel, I placed the strip die across the center of the panel.

Since I wanted to create a water scene, I inked the bottom half of the panel with Distress Ink in Speckled Egg and Faded Jeans.  On the top half I used Squeezed Lemonade and Scattered Straw.

I repeatedly stamped the Fairy Hugs Hanging Vines along the bottom of the panel with VersaFine Clair Morning Mist Ink, off stamping to reduce the ink color.  The Fairy Hugs Moon Tree was inked with VersaFine Clair Pinecone Ink along both sides of the panel.  The Fairy Hugs Galaxy Stencil was used to add stars.

To create the card, I used the largest of the dies, placing it above the fold and die cutting.  Then I die cut a full panel and adhered them together to create the card.

Following the directions on the package, I created the mechanism and placed the panel on the card with foam adhesives, which gives the mechanism room to move.

I stamped Fairy Hugs Moana in VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink, Fairy Hugs Logs in VersaFine Pinecone Ink and Fairy Hugs Swan in VersaFine Clair Twilight Ink, then fussy cut each piece.

I placed the log slightly below the opening then adhered the Swan and Moana to the mechanism.

Moving the tab at the bottom of the card allows the Swan and Moana to interact!

Kite Flying with Tiana

Hi everyone, it's Thursday and my day to share another Fairy Stamper project.

I stamped Fairy Hugs Tiana on a die cut white panel using VersaFine Clair Purple Delight.  Placing a mask on Tiana, I stamped the largest of the Fairy Hugs Log using VersaFine Clair Acorn Ink.

Next, ink the edges with VersaFine Clair Ink in Twilight.  Using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Kit Dies, die cut Rinea Foiled Papers in Cobalt/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper and Gold/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper.  Place the kite tail in Tiana's hands.

Mat the panel with brown cardstock and add to a kraft card.  Assemble the kite and add to the card with foam adhesives for dimension.  Add a little extra color to the log with Copic Markers.

Fairy Hugs BIrthday Card

Hi everyone, so excited to be sharing that several of the cards I created for Fairy Hugs were part of the British Craft TV Hochanda on October 6.  They showcased the new Fairy Hugs stamps .

You can watch Hochanda here:  https://www.hochanda.com/

I created a birthday card using  Luna, stamping her on Fairy Hugs Under the Sea Background.  Tearing the top edge, I placed it atop cardstock creating a slimline card and purposely left the top edge open.  Happy Birthday was added.

I created a tag which was embossed with a birthday embossing folder.  Adding a left over strip of the Undersea Paper, I created a band under which you can slip some cash.

Merry Christmas Cards

Hi everyone, I know it's still August, but it's never to early to start making Christmas cards is it?

I used lots of  left over scraps to create these cards.

Tape the pattern paper strips to a cardstock panel, alternating how you apply them.

Die cut with a Lawn Fawn rectangle die for the perfect focal point.

The poinsettias finished the cards nicely, don't you think?

Floating Butterflies Card

Hi everyone I've got a new project for Dies R Us.

Create a card from Lavender cardstock.  Die cut assorted butterflies from Rinea foiled papers.  I've used Sapphire/Gold Glossy, Violet/Gold Glossy and Blush/Gold Glossy.

Using the Lawn Fawn Quilted Backdrop Die, die cut Silver/Gold Glossy and adhere to the card with Best Glue Ever.  Assemble the butterflies to Gold/Gold Glossy and add them to the card, adhering just their bodies, letting their wings fly free.

Add a strip of cardstock across the card.  Stamp a sentiment from Joy Clair Stamps on Silver foiled paper with black ink and lightly emboss.  Die cut with oval dies and add to the card with foam adhesives for dimension.

Please stop by the Dies R Us Store to see all the dies that are available!

Lavinia World Challenge #20

Hi everyone, it's time for the next challenge at Lavinia World Challenges.  Please check it out and join in the fun.

This was a fun card to make using glossy cardstock.  I created the background with alcohol inks.

Using VersaFine Clair inks, I stamped the Fairy Steps with Pinecone Ink.  The background added just the right amount of color to the steps.  Next, I stamped the Fairy Couple with Nocturne Ink.   I felt another fairy was needed, so I also one of fairies from Three Dancing Fairies with Nocturne Ink.

Using Purple Delight, I stamped the Secrets Are Hidden stamp around the images.  Next, I matted the panel with pink cardstock before adding it to a blue card.

Would love to see what you create for Challenge #20.  The winner of the challenge will receive a
$15 gift certificate to Lavinia World to shop for more goodies.   Remember there is a new challenge every other Thursday.  Can't wait to see what you create.

Thanks for stopping by.

Altered Candle and Card with Rinea Foiled Papers

Hi everyone, I'm on the Rinea blog with an altered decorative candle and coordinating card today.

I found this plain blue sparkly candle and knew it needed to be altered.

The Frosted Foiled Paper Variety Pack was perfect with it's amazing selection of foiled papers and colors.

I began by cutting the Glossy Silver/Gold Foil to fit the candle.  Next, I cut a strip of  Starstruck Turquoise Light Blue/Gold smaller and adhered it to the Silver.  Using a Memory Box die, I die cut the snowflake spray twice from Glossy Silver/Gold Foil and adhered both pieces to the center of the panel.  Then I wrapped the panel around the candle and adhered it.

Using Joy Clair's Merry Christmas Sentiments Stamp Set, I stamped Let It Snow with StazOn Pigment Ink in Piano Black on Glossy Silver/Gold Foil and then die cut it.  It was then adhered to a larger Glossy Sapphire/Gold die cut shape.

To create a base for the candle, I die cut Glossy Sapphire/Gold Foil with a medallion die.

The medallion die cut was adhered to the bottom of the candle and allowed to sit overnight.  Let It Snow was centered on the snowflake panel.

Such a pretty candle, don't you think?    It would make a nice gift.  But please remember that it is for decorative purposes only.

And since I am giving the candle as a gift, a coordinating card was needed.

I embossed Glossy Turquoise Light Blue Glossy  Foil with a Cuttlebug embossing folder, then used sand paper to lightly sand the embossed portions.

The embossed panel was adhered to white cardstock, then wrapped with ribbon before adding it to a blue card.

A phrase was stamped on Glossy Turquoise Light Blue/Gold Foil and die cut, then matted with white cardstock.  The phrase was then added to the card with foam adhesives for dimension.   Finally, dew drops were added to the card.

Lavinia World Challenge #14

Hi everyone, it's time for the next challenge at Lavinia World Challenges.  Please check it out and join in the fun.

I wanted an earthy look to my card this week so I chose some trees and leaves papers placing them on a black card and adding a strip of burlap on top/

I stamped Oona on black cardstock with white ink.  She did not show up as nicely as I would have liked, so I added color with Ranger Perfect Pearls in Copper and Gold.  I Love how she turned out!

I matted her with a scalloped panel and added it to the card with foam adhesives for dimension.

I then added sentiments around the image which I die cut from Rinea Gold/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper.  Finally, some Robin's Nest dew drops were added to the card.

Would love to see what you create for Challenge #14.  The winner of the challenge will receive a $15 gift certificate to Lavinia World to shop for more goodies.   Remember there is a new challenge every other Thursday.  Can't wait to see what you create.

Lavinia World Challenge #13

Hi everyone, it's time for the next challenge at Lavinia World Challenges.  Please check it out and join in the fun.

This is Josie - isn't she pretty?

I just wanted a black and white theme this week so I stamped her in black ink on a off white panel of cardstock.  I cut apart the sentiment - Once upon a dream - so it fit better on my card.

Would love to see what you create for Challenge #12.  The winner of the challenge will receive a $15 gift certificate to Lavinia World to shop for more goodies.   Remember there is a new challenge every other Thursday.  Can't wait to see what you create.
