LaviniaWorld Chalenge #12

Hi everyone, it's time for the next challenge at Lavinia World Challenges.  Please check it out and join in the fun.

Today' I'm using Fairy Wish which is such a fun silhouette.  She was stamped with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink. 

The panel was die cut, then lightly inked before being added to a large die cut.  I needed a little more sparkly so I added Nuvo Drops to the centers of the flowers.

Using papers on my craft desk, I created the card and wrapped it with ribbon before adding the stamped panel with foam adhesives.   Once Upon a Dream was also stamped with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink and place across the top of the card.

Always Grateful Panels

Hi everyone, I'm on the Rinea blog with 2 Grateful Canvas panels

You can easily die cut several layers of Rinea Foiled Papers.  I used Marigold/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper and Ebony/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper with a Tutti Designs die.

Beautiful results even when die cutting 2 layers.

For this project, I was careful to save all the smaller die cut pieces so I could piece my design back together.

I started by adhering the main designs on 4" x 4" canvas panels.  Then I pieced the pumpkins together with the opposite color.

 Next, I die cut 2 layers of  Emerald/Emerald Starstruck Foiled Paper for the leaf sprays.

I fussy cut the leaves then adhered them to both panels.  Dew drops were added to the flower centers.  Finally, I die cut 2 birds from Silver/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper.

Lastly, I inked around the panel with brown ink.

Happy Fall

Hi everyone I'm on the Dies R Us blog with another Fall card.

I stamped this lovely image with black ink and colored it with Copic Markers.

  

Using the woodgrain die, die cut a two toned pattern paper.

Use rectangle dies to die cut the image, ink it with brown ink, then mat it with brown cardstock.

Add the woodgrain panel to brown cardstock.  Add a 1" strip of brown cardstock across the panel and tie ribbon across the panel.  Add the panel to the card.  Place the stamped panel on the card with foam adhesives for dimension.

Autumn Tags with Clear Scraps

Hi everyone, I'm on the Clear Scraps blog using 2 of the tags from the Chipboard Tag Album.  This album has 4 different shaped tags so I chose to use 2 for my tags.

Place the tags on pattern paper and trace around them.  Cut and adhere to the tags, inking them with brown ink.

For the November tag, cut the panel and ink with brown ink.  Mat with cardstock and center it on the tag.

Select assorted embellishments, mat each and add to the tag.  Add  pattern paper strip across the tag.  Stamp the phrase and add to the center of tag.

Repeat for the Autumn tag, but add a panel of burlap between the layers.  Wrap twine around the tag and add to the tag with foam adhesives.  Stamp and die cut the same phrase.  Add to the center of the tag.

Fall Sign with Proxxon Tools

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today sharing a new fall project.

The new sign was created with scraps of wood.  Using the Micro Bandsaw, I cut assorted sizes of blocks.  I wasn't too concerned with the sizes.

I used the Disc Sander to sand the edges of each block.

I used FolkArt Paints to paint each block.

I needed a longer strip of wood to adhere the smaller blocks on, so I cut another strip of wood using the Micro Bandsaw again.

Next, I used the Bench Drill Press to drill holes in the ends of the strip.

I glued burlap to the panel, then glued the smaller blocks on top.

To decorate, I created assorted clay embellishments from Makin's Clay and Leaves Push Mold, inking each with Brilliance inks.

Placing the letters on each block, I adhered the clay leaves to each block.

Fall Pumpkin Window

Hi everyone, I've got with another project for Dies R Us using Tutti Designs and since Fall is in the air, it was the perfect time to use this die.

Begin by creating a square card from gold cardstock.  Add a striped layer on the card base.  Mat the acorn paper with cardstock and wrap with twine before adding it to the card.  

  

Using the Autumn Window die, die cut it 3 times from kraft, green and orange cardstock.

Using the orange die cut as the base, carefully cut the kraft and green layers.  Ink all layers with brown ink and assemble to the base image with The Best Glue Ever.  Adhere yellow paper behind the pumpkins and a scrap of white behind the windows.

Die cut an oval from pattern paper and place the window on top.  Add the oval die to the card with foam adhesives for dimension.

Stamp Fall on white cardstock.  Die cut with an oval die, mat with a larger oval and add to the card.

Happy Halloween with Rinea Foiled Papers

Hi everyone, I've got 2 Halloween cards on the Rinea blog.

Don't they look great?

To create the graveyard scene, I embossed Ebony/Ebony Starstruck Foiled Paper using an embossing folder.

For a fun effect, I sanded over the entire panel creating a spooky effect.  The sand paper removes some of the foil allowing the underlayer of white to show through.

I matted the panel with white and black cardstock before adding the panel to a card.  I die cut a moon from Gold/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper, placing it in the upper corner and cutting off the edges.  Next, I die cut a witch from Violet Starstruck/Starstruck Foiled Paper and placed her atop the moon.  Halloween, from Joy Clair's If You Dare Stamp set, was stamped on white cardstock, punched out and placed along the bottom edge.

For my witch card, I die cut Marigold/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper using Lawn Fawn dies.

I inked a script embossing folder with Ghost Ink, placed the smaller panel inside the embossing folder and embossed the panel.

Inking the embossing folder means the Ghost Ink will be embedded in the non script areas.  Running a baby wipe over the panel removes some of the color giving the panel a funky effect.

The witch elements were die cut from Ebony/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper.

Assembling the card, I placed the embossed panel on foam adhesives giving it a little dimension from the card.

Happy Halloween was stamped on white cardstock and die cut.  It was then placed atop an Emerald/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper die.  This was then placed on an angle in the center of the card and the hat and shoes placed around it.  

Kind of reminds me when the house fell on the wicked witch in the Wizard of Oz.

Clearscraps Jingle Wood Tag

Hi everyone, I'm on the ClearScraps blog with some new products.

Tape the Jingle all the way stencil to the Jumbo Wood Tag Scallop. 

Cover the stencil with Imagine Crafts Gold Creative Medium.

Remove the stencil and clean it immediately. 

Place the Sparkle Stencil in the upper corner and tape in place.  Use the Gold Creative Medium to cover the words "tis the season".

Finally, using the Sparkle Stencil, randomly add the stars about the tag using modeling paste.

Tie ribbon and hang from a door knob.
