Sailing the Ocean

Hi everyone I'm sharing a new card on the Just For Fun Rubber Stamp Blog using some great stamps available from the store to create my cards.

I stamped the Fishing Boat in black ink and colored it with Memento Markers.  Adding Nuvo Drops to the windshield created a faux windshield.  The panel was lightly inked and matted on red and black cardstock then a dotted panel before the card.

The phrase was stamped on a white panel and matted to coordinate with the card. It was then added with foam adhesives giving it some dimension.

Spring Cards with Clear Scraps

Hi everyone, I'm on the Clear Scraps blog using several of their Clearly Framed Embellishments.

Using the Small Rectangle Deco Frame and the Small Oval Scallop Frame as the focal elements of my cards, I removed the film from both sides of the frames and painted both sides with pink paint.

Using GinaK Stamps, I stamped them with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Memento Markers before fussy cutting them.

The flowers and leaves were arranged around the frames.  Several butterflies were punched from Rinea Foiled Paper and adhered to each card.  I finished with a small sentiment.

Mini Album with Rinea Foiled Paper

Hi everyone, I'm on the Rinea blog with a mini album using the Rinea Princess Foiled Paper Variety Pack  and Joy Clair Stamps.

I've used a 5x7 Zig Zag book from Arnold Grummer to create a Friendship Mini Album using the Princess Foiled Paper Variety Pack  and Joy Clair Stamps.

Begin by stamping the Wood Background stamp in brown ink on Glossy Silver/Gold Foiled Paper.

Cut Glossy Silver/Gold Foiled Paper to 6x8, then glue the chipboard panel to the silver side.  Score around the chipboard.  Fold along the scored lines and adhere the flaps to the chipboard panel.  Repeat for the second chipboard panel using Glossy Blush Pink/Gold Foiled Paper for the back cover.

Mat the stamped panel with black cardstock.  Wrap ribbon around the book and add the stamped panel on top.  Add several stamped phrases from the Joy Clair Best Buds stamp set.

Stamp one of the images from the Best Buds stamp set for the center of the front cover.

Adhere the Z-Fold pages to the front and back covers.  Then decorate the pages with stamps and assorted foiled papers.

Repeat for the other side.  This is the perfect sized album to use up your scraps of foiled papers.

At 5x7 the Z-Fold booklet is the perfect size to put in your child's back pack so they can add photos of their friends as well as some notes about their days with friends.

Fly High Stenciled Cards

Hi everyone, I've got some new cards on the ExpresionsCraft blog using stencils to create backgrounds.  Stencils can be used to create amazing, one of a kind, patterns for your cards.

Using the new Vintage Style Stencil, I placed it on white cardstock and spritzed it with several colors of Fireworks! by Imagine. Then I flipped over the inked stencil onto another piece of cardstock and used a brayer to release the ink creating a negative effect. The photo on the left is the original spritzed stencil.  Next I matted each piece with cardstock.

I inked the Leafy Wreath embellishments with Brilliance Gold Ink.

I stamped butterflies from the Happy Fly stamp set and colored them with Memento Markers.  I die cut each and matted with a larger die, then added the Leafy Wreath around the butterflies.

The panel were wrapped with ribbon and twine and the butterfly pieces were added.

Fly High was stamped, inked and matted then added to the cards.

Tis the Season

Hi everyone, I'm on the Just For Fun Blog today using some great stamps from the store to create my card.

I know Christmas was 4 months ago, however, I discovered this Christmas Lantern stamp and wanted to use it.

I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, then fussy cut it.  Next, I used Memento Markers to color the image.

Die cutting 2 layers of red cardstock, I placed them atop another panel of red which was added to a card.  The Lantern was then popped onto the card.  "tis the season from the Sentiment 1 stamp set was stamped, matted and added below the Lantern.
