Trees Backgrounder Stamp: After creating a top folding card, I used the Trees Backgrounder Stamp for the interior of the card. I die cut a circle on the front of the card which allowed the trees to show through.



I added some small punched butterfles to the trees so they appear to be in flight.



Using my Cricut Expression, I die cut the sentiment and added it to the bottom of the card.

For my next card I used Time to Stamp from the Rummage Bin which is an amazing stamp set with clocks and sentiments.

I created my own background paper by stamping the clocks on cream cardstock with ColorBox Cocoa Ink. I stamped an additional clock which I then die cut. Using ColorBox Red Barn Chalk Ink, I stamped "Time" on top of the clock and then stamped the sentiment on another piece of cardstock. After wrapping ribbon around the card, I attached the clock to it.

This is my final post at Just Imagine Kreaxions as my DT term is finished. I had so much fun working with the many punches I received and I will continue to work with them and show them off as I can.

So, using my favorite punches (3-in-1 punch #901 and Butterfly punch #604 along with the Lattice Die), I'm sending a great big Thanks to the owners for letting me play with these amazing punches.



I used the Lattice Die to create a frame over my pattern paper. Running the frame through my Xyron allowed for perfect glue placement. Punch #901 was used alone to create the fun butterfly border. I then scattered little butterflies over the Lattice Die so they appear to be in flight.

Just A Line

I created my card from American Crafts pattern paper and used Stickles to highlight the flowers on the paper.



Punch #905 with insert A created a nice border piece across my card, onto which I stamped my sentiment. Because I wanted the punched piece to stand out from the background, I added a strip of black cardstock underneath.



Using the Circle Cutter, I cut a 5" circle and cut off one edge to align it with the edge of my card. I inked the edges with Clearsnap Jasmine Inx, then added flower layers on top. Some more Stickles on the flower petals finished off this card.

Happy Valentine's Day

Today's post at Justimagine/Kreaxion is this card.

As Valentine's Day approaches, I wanted to create a non traditional card using traditional colors, so I pulled out punch #305 and used it to create a border across my card. Since the design is really pretty, I wanted to focus on it, and backed it with some black cardstock to make it pop. I then found some pretty pearl brads that fit perfectly into the loops created by the punch.




A little sentiment, another pearl brad and some twine finished it off nicely.

Husband and Wife

Good morning. It's another wonderfully punchy day and I posted this wedding card at Just Imagine Crafts .



I used punch 920 to create a double border for my card. I first punched one edge then measured to be sure my pattern paper strip would fit before punching the other edge. It really gives a different look to any creation.

My post at Justimagine Crafts shows how versatile these punches can be. I didn't want to detract from the patterns in this card, so I opted to use punch 906 to create a border to span the length of my card. I think it added just the final touch it needed. A sentiment was added to the right so as not to distract from the punched edge.

The pattern paper is LYB and it was embossed with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder. Then I inked it with Colorbox Chalk Ink for a little added color. The sentiment was stamped in Colorbox Donna Salazar Black Inx and Embossing Powder.




I used punch 909 to create the border across the card and Clearsnap Design Adhesives and Designer Foils for the pennant.

Don't Make Me......

Playing with some new stamps I just received from My Favorite Things . I think the sentiments that work with the typewriter are so much fun to create with. This set also came with a die-namics which is the coordinating typewriter die so you get to cut out the typewrite perfectly!

Puppy Love

This is today's post at Just Imagine / Kreaxions.

Gary and Paulie, the puppy we didn't know we wanted! Such a love affair those two have!!!

The Kreaxions Circle Cutter was a perfect tool to use to create the perfect sized circles for this layout. I cut the black circle at 10 1/2", then the white at 10". Then I machine stitched all the layers together. I used punch #911 across the center for some more love.

Merry Christmas Eve

Merry Christmas Eve to you. This is today's post at Just Imagine / Kreaxions.

As we all know, tomorrow is THE day. Hope everyone is done with their shopping and gift wrapping and taking some time to enjoy and relax. Just in case you need to create a card, here's a perfect one for today.



Because I didn't want to take away from the stamped image by using pattern papers, I opted to use Kreaxions punch 312 along the edge of the card. It's a perfect addition to the stamped image. As you can see, a large and small snowflake is punched each time you use the punch. Since I wanted the punched snowflakes to show, I also punched a strip of white cardstock and adhered it "off center" under the edge of the card.

The image was stamped on blue, white, pink and gray cardstock with Colorbox's Donna Salazar Jasmine Inx and embossed with Jasmine Embossing Powder. I then paper pieced the scene together and lightly inked around the snowman with Petal Point Inks for some depth.

Before adhering the image, I spritzed the black card with Clearsnap's Vanilla Smooch Spritz.

Wintertime

Time to finish those last minute cards and gifts. I used Bo Bunny pattern papers on this set, first punching along the bottom of my card with Kreaxions punch #311. I loved the open effect along the edge, so I inserted some pattern paper to finish off the bottom of my card.



The stamp was colored with Copic Markers. The sentiment was stamped with Donna Salazar Black Inx and then embossed.

The box was made with 2 pieces of pattern paper, each 8" x 8", then folded and scored. No tape was used and the box stays together nicely. I used the same punch on white cardstock and added it around the box. Then, I just added some twine to hold it together and you are done - a perfect box for something small and awesome!!!



Add a tag and voila - done and done.

Iused the Butterfly punch #604 to create the tiny butterflies that were used to adorn the stamped tree image.

World's Greatest Mom

It's always Mother's Day when you have a wonderful Mom. Don't ever forget to let her know how much she means to you.

Using punch 311 and the Circle Punch, I created a doily for my sentiment, adding brads in the center of the punched pieces.



I cut a larger circle to mat my doily and help it stand out from the background.

Thinking of You

The softness of Clearsnap inks provided a dreamy look to this card.


I used the butterfly punch (604), using the punched butterflies as stencils for the backg round of my card. Placing the butterflies down, I lightly inked over them with Clearsnap's Chiffon Ink. Once I was done, I lightly inked the spaces between the butterflies with Clearsnap's Peridot Ink. A light spray of Smooch Spritz in Vanilla shimmer added a little bit of shine. The sentiment was stamped directly on the inked and spritz background.

Then I used punch #924 to create a border across the center of my card.

Just Flying By

I know it's a little late for Halloween, but I totally love this card and the Circle Cutter made it soooo easy to create the two sized circles. Don't forget to check out all the amazing projects at www.justimaginecrafts.com.

Love

Love is in the air when using Kreaxion punches. Did you know they work really well on glitter paper when used in conjunction with the Punch Mate. The Punch Mate really helps punch through some of the thicker papers on the market.



Using punch 303, I punched along edge of white glitter paper, then sewed it onto the bottom of my card, creating a really fun border.

You Make My Heart Smile

Today's post at JustImagine Crafts shows how I used punch # 903.

Using this punch along the bottom edge of a card really adds a nice impact. I just added a strip of black cardstock behind the punched design to help it stand out.



I then used the wonderful Circle Cutter to cut 2 circles upon which I added a beautiful K&Co. flower and leaf. The sentiment was placed under the circles.

Happy Halloween

I've got a post on the Just Imagine Crafts blog this morning showing a really quick and easy way to use your punches and assorted supplies. All you need is left over cardstock, pattern paper, ribbon, a Halloween image and, of course, your Kreaxions punch of choice. I chose to use punch 906 with insert C because I just love the corner edges it creates.

I've had this Halloween rub-on in my stash for a long time along with this journal card. So, putting the two of them together made a cute book mark. Just punch the edges around the image and the journal card. Mat both on different colored cardstock. Adhere, add a ribbon and enjoy.




So, remember to pull out your scraps and just punch, punch, punch. You never know what you'll be able to create.

Today's post at Justimagine - Kreaxions showcases this fun card using "left overs".

At one point, I used the Lattice Die on some cardstock, but never used it. Then I came across a black piece of cardstock that had an oval cut from it's center. So I thought I'd try to combine these items and see what I could come up with.



I glued the Lattice die cut behind the cardstock creating a fun look to the front of this card. Then I die cut the Butterfly die, thinking it might look good with the Lattice die cut. Being a little plain, I used punch #309 on the butterfly wings, inked the edges, then matted it on some red cardstock. I then added a bling "trail".

The card did seem a little plain, so I picked up some left over pieces from punch #309, and created some fun corners for the card. Then I added my sentiment.

So next time you come across left over pieces from your punches, work with them to see what you can create.
