Everything is Accomplished

Hi everyone, I love the changing seasons don't you?  

I began by placing my stamp on the MISTI, then inking separately with 3 colors of VersaFine Clair Inks to get the different colors of the season.

Next, I used Distress Oxide Ins in Lemonade, Marigold and Speckled Egg to create the background effect - I worked backwards but love the effect!!

I had an unmounted rubber stamp so I applied TapeRunner adhesive to the back, attached it to an acrylic block and stamped my phrase  perfectly.

The trees were matted with green and brown cardstock before being added to the card.  I die cut the phrase, matted it with brown cardstock and added to the lower corner.

Nature can be so pretty!!

Lavinia World Challenge #40

Hi everyone, it's time for the next challenge at Lavinia World Challenges.  Please check it out and join in the fun.

I started by stamping Daydreaming Silhouette in Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink.  Then I stamped Fairy Words using Versafine Clair Fallen Leaves across the panel.

The top panel was created with assorted colors of Brusho Inks.  The center was die cut and a scalloped border was placed around the opening.  Spotty Toadstools were stamped with Versafine Clair Fallen Leaves Ink along both sides of the card.

Using VersaFine Clair Shady Lane Ink, I stamped Luna Lights along the top edge in a variety of heights.

The panel was then placed over the fairy so she showed through the  die cut window.   Slender Mushrooms were stamped as first and second generation stamping with Fallen Leaves Ink across the bottom of the card.  The panel was then matted with pink cardstock.

The panel was then added to a green card and Platinum Liquid Pearls were added to the toadstools giving them some dimension.

Hello Summer with Raphael

Hi everyone, it's Thursday and my day to share another Fairy Stamper project. 

I know that summer is now behind us, but I love how Raphael is sunning himself on the Logs.

I used a variety of Fairy Hugs Stamps, including Raphael,  Logs, and Dancing Mushrooms.

I stamped the largest log with VersaFine Clair Pinecone Ink on an angle off the left side of the card and the Dancing Mushrooms off the right side of the card with VersaFine Green Oasis Inc.

Then I inked panel with Distress Oxide Inks in shades of blues and greens using torn papers to create the waves.  Then I used shades of yellow, orange and pink to create the sky.

I die cut the Lawn Fawn Bayou Background with Rinea Mocha/Mocha Starstruck Foiled Paper and placed it over the background.   It was then matted with beige and green cardstocks and adhered to the card.

Raphael was stamped with VersaFine Clair in Shady Lane Ink.  The smaller log was stamped with VersaFine Clair in Pinecone Ink.   Each was then fussy cut.  The smaller log was added to the card with foam adhesives for dimension, then Raphael was added on top peeking out from amongst the reeds.

Hello Summer was die cut from Gold/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper using a Tutti Designs Die and placed at the top of the card.

Mini Gift Bags

Hi everyone, it's time to start thinking Christmas so I've created some little gift bags that hold gift cards.  I really feel guilty giving gift cards as it feels like I've not spent the time to get something special, so I've found that giving gift cards in a sweet package takes away that guilt!

Using a Spellbinders/APG dies, I created these perfect gift bags!   Perfect for using left over papers.

Super easy to assemble.

They even come with the little tags that hang from the handles onto wish I've stamped phrases.  Decorate as desired.

  Use left over pattern papers and die cut a bunch at one time.  Decorate as desired with stamps and dies.  Create "tissue paper" with the included dies and assorted Rinea Foiled Papers in Silver Starstruck, Emerald Starstruck, Ruby Starstruck and Jade Starstruck.

Just think of how much fun it will be to see them open these little gifts!

Merry Christmas Slimline Card

Hi everyone, it's never to early to start Christmas cards, is it?

I'm having fun with Lawn Fawn Slimline dies and found them to be perfect for this Christmas card.

I stamped the  images from Lawn Fawn Ho Ho Holidays clear stamp set  using Lawn Fawn Black Licorice Ink.

Using the coordinating Lawn Fawn Ho Ho Holidays dies, I die cut the images after coloring them with Copic Markers.

Creating a card from Bazzill Wax Lips Cardstock, I  added the next layer from Maja Designs Vintage Summer 1923 pattern paper using Lawn Fawn Large Slimline with Sliders.   The top layer was die cut from Bazzill Gumdrop Cardstock using the 2  Lawn Fawn Small Slimline Dies with Lift the Flap together.  I also die cut another red panel and adhered them together.

The card was assembled.  You can see the red cardstock peeking out behind the panels which are perfectly scored during the die cutting process.

Next, I added the stamped images on the flaps.  Merry Christmas, a Lawn Fawn Border Line Die was die cut from Wax Lips Cardstock and added above the flips.

Inside I added Mr. and Mrs. Claus to the base on the outside panels.   I also stamped the phrases (which are included in the stamp set), on white cardstock and placed it behind the center panel.

Finally, I used Ranger Liquid Pearls in Garnet and Platinum to add dimension to the deer and the "i" in Christmas.

Who wouldn't like opening the flaps of this card!

Merry Christmas Poinsettia Tag

Hi everyone, I'm on the Clear Scraps blog with a Merry Christmas tag.

Using one of the acrylic tags from the Acrylic Tag Album, decorate with Rinea Jolly Variety Foiled Paper Variety Pack.    This Variety Pack has all the colors you need for Christmas creations.  Cut Emerald Glossy foil to fit and then adhere to the tag.  Emboss a strip of Ruby Starstruck foil, then tear the  right edge before adhering to the tag.

To create the bow, die cut Gold Glossy foil using Spellbinders dies.

Assemble the bow and adhere it  to the tag with a large brad.

Using the Joy Clair 3D Christmas Poinsettia stamp set, stamp Merry Christmas on a white circle and adhere to a Gold Glossy foil scalloped circle, then add to the tag.  Punch holes in the tag and adhere several different sized poinsettias and leaves using brads.

To finish, adhere red and gold dew drops around Merry Christmas. .

Dashing through the snow....

Hi everyone, I'm on the Rinea blog today and we are collaborating with Crackerbox/Suzy stamps this month.

Using the Carolers stamp, I inked it with black ink and stamped it onto white cardstock, then used blue ink to add color around the image.

Using Spellbinders/APG dies, I die cut Ruby/Ruby Starstruck Foiled Paper and Silver/Silver Starstruck Foiled Paper along with green cardstock to create a fun shaped card.

The Ruby die cut panel was adhered to the Silver panel, then adhered to the green card.  The Carolers were matted with Gold/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper  and  then adhered to the card.

Dashing through the snow was stamped on a scrap of cardstock, curled with my fingers, then added to the card.

A small snowflake die was used to die cut Silver/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper and the snowflakes were then added around the top of the stamped image.

Merry Christmas Jayla

Hi everyone, it's Thursday and my day to share another Fairy Stamper project. 

I've created a Christmas card using  Jayla.  To achieve the variety of colors, I placed her on a MISTI so I could control  my colors.

The card base was created with Rinea Foiled Paper in Ruby/Gold Glossy.  Next, I layered a panel of Gold/Gold Glossy, then added the stamped panel.  A tree was die cut from Emerald/Gold Glossy and placed along the panel's edge.  

I placed a Gold/Gold Glossy star in Jaya's hands so it appears she is decorating the tree.  Merry Christmas is a Lawn Fawn die which was cut from Emerald/Gold Glossy and added to the side of the card.

To finish, I added Liquid Pearls to the edge of her dress and hat as well as the Christmas Tree.
