Hi everyone, I am desperate for Spring, aren't you? Check out a new card I've created using stamps from Creative Vision Stamps.
I've used the Happy Spring stamp set which consists of 6 individual stamps. This quick and simple card uses just the Happy Spring phrase, but it was paired with an amazing foiled background.
I used the Geometric 15 Foilables Pattern Pack Toner Sheets with Foil, then matted the panel with beige cardstock. Next, I wrapped the panel with green ribbon and tied the die cut sentiment to the ribbon with twine. Finally I added the panel to a green card with foam adhesives for dimension.

Ice Cream Cones with Makin's Clay
Hi everyone, if you need a fun project to create with the kids, why not consider grabbing some Makin'sⓇClay and Whisker Graphics twine. Think of all the fun things you can create.
Begin by creating ice cream shapes using Makin'sⓇClay clay and cutters.
Use the Roller to roll out a thin layer of brown clay, then cut ice cream cones for the base. Use left over clay and mix together to create the ice cream - think rocky road, strawberries and cream, cherries jubilee.........whatever flavors you like. Roll out these "flavors" and cut out the ice cream tops by cutting off the bases.
Punch holes in the top of each cone and add a jump ring. Allow to set 24 hours then place a glaze on top to make them shiney.
Cut 3 lengths of Divine Twine Twists in Watermellon and thread them through two of the jump rings. Thread Divine Twine Diva- The Wheat Diva through the other two jump rings.
Braid the twines and tie off.
These can now be used as book marks, attached to back packs or purses, etc. The kids will have so much fun creating an assortment of shapes from Makin'sⓇ Clay.

Baby Shower Place Settings with Etchall
Hi everyone, party themed decorations are fun to create. Have you thought of using etchallⓇ etching crème to add some personalization to your party decorations? I found some tiny jars that I knew would make cute place settings.
Wash the jars thoroughly removing the remaining etching crème, then remove the vinyl.
Now simply fill the jars with candies and place on the tables.
Don't they look sweet?
Since the baby shower attendees don't always know the sex of the baby, die cut vinyl with the letters "B" and "G" . Adhere the vinyl to the glass jar and use the spatula to smooth out the vinyl.
Spoon etching crème over the letters. As you can see my etching crème is dark. That's because etching crème gets darker over time. The color, however, has no impact on the etching.
Let the etching crème sit for 15 minutes, then simply return the etching cream to its original container.

Blog Hop Family and Friends - SoSuzy Stamps and Crackerbox Palace
Hi everyone, today I'm participating in a blog hop with members of the So Suzy Design Team. As a member of So Suzy's first design team, I am thrilled to showcase some of So Suzy and Crackerbox Stamps.
After stamping her with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and embossing with Clear embossing powder, I die cut the fairy and then matted her with a larger die cut circle.
My second card uses Feathers and Birds along with Feathers and Angels.
Delicata Inks by Imagine are light and delicate inks that were wonderful for this card. I wanted the card as soft and delicate as the stamps. I first stamped the Feathers and Birds in Gold and Rose Gold, then embossed with Clear embossing powder.
The phrase was stamped and embossed then die cut and matted with a larger die cut.
Around the card I added drops of IrRESISTible in Wedding Dress.
Please stop by designers noted below to see what they've created.

Just for You with Expressions Craft
Hi everyone, I'm on the Expressions Crafts blog with another card using the wonderful Flora stamp set, one of my favorite stamp sets. For the sentiment I decided to use the Wild Flower stamp set.
I wanted to showcase this beautiful flower so I stamped it on white cardstock and colored it with Copic Markers. Die cutting it and matting with 2 larger die cuts really showcases the image, don't you think?
It looks stunning against a woodgrain type background. Then I simply added a sentiment from the Wild Flower Stamp Set.

Floral Card with Video for Expressions Crafts
Hi everyone, I've created another video post for Expressions Craft. I used the Flora stamp set, one of my favorite stamp sets because it has 5 different floral images and 4 sentiments.
Using the small floral stamp, I repeatedly stamped it on white cardstock, then colored them with Copic Markers. Then I added some flowers on top to create a 3 dimensional appearance.
Please check out my process video. I'm still a little nervous creating videos, but hope I am getting better!!

Altered Frame with Handmade Papers
Hi everyone, I'm on the Arnold Grummer blog with an altered frame using handmade paper.
Creating your own paper is fun, but sometimes you make a mistake. I was creating this envelope but forgot to use the mesh while removing excess water from the paper. Unfortunately, this pulled away part of the paper I had just made! No more envelope!
Creating your own paper is fun, but sometimes you make a mistake. I was creating this envelope but forgot to use the mesh while removing excess water from the paper. Unfortunately, this pulled away part of the paper I had just made! No more envelope!
I just put this paper aside to dry, then realized I could cut it apart and alter a frame.
Cutting the papers to fit, I adhered them to the frame. Once dry, I used the Proxxon PenSander to sand the edges and remove the excess paper.
Using another sheet of handmade paper, I die cut flowers, flourishes and a butterfly.
Then I sprayed the elements with Imagine Fireworks! Sprays.
I painted the edges of the frame with terracotta paint, then stamped a grid pattern with Brilliance Coffee Ink randomly about the frame. I then added the flourishes, flowers and butterfly to the frame.
I stamped a phrase on the same paper, tore the edges and inked with Brilliance Coffee Ink. I matted the phrase with kraft cardstock and added it to the center of the frame.
What do you think?

Baby Shower Banner with Rinea Foiled Paper
Hi everyone, I've got a baby shower banner on the Rinea blog.
I began by using several dies to cut foils from Blush/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper and Turquoise/Gold Glossy Foiled Papers. The cuts are amazing.
Using left over scraps from the above die cuts, I added Gold foiled circles to the center of each medallion.
Adhere tulle to each banner, then add the medallions on top, alternating the colors. Then I placed the baby buggies on top.
Assemble the banner with brads and add tulle to use as a hanger.
I began by using several dies to cut foils from Blush/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper and Turquoise/Gold Glossy Foiled Papers. The cuts are amazing.
To create the banner pieces, I die cut black cardstock, then die cut pink and blue papers to fit. Once assembled, I used molding paste through a TCW stencil for dimension. Next, I punched strips of Gold/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper to fit the top of each banner.
Adhere tulle to each banner, then add the medallions on top, alternating the colors. Then I placed the baby buggies on top.

Mini Fence Panel
Supplies:
The wood I used is from an old left over fence panel. To be sure I cut straight lines, I used the Kapro 313 Measure Mate.
Then I used my Delta Jigsaw to cut the panels, following the line created with the Kapro 313 Measure Mate.
Next I used the Delta Sander to sand down the fence panels to remove all the rough patches and imperfections.
I used the panel as is, but found it too dark. So I decided to paint on a light layer of Plaid Milk Paint in Winter Harbour to give the panel a nice white washed appearance.
Once the panels dried, I sanded the panels again to remove some of the paint and give it a more distressed appearance.
Now my panel is ready to use as a background for my projects. It's large enough for my bigger projects, yet light enough to pick up and move around.
What do you think?
Thanks for stopping by.
