Thank you Card

Hi everyone, I've got a new project for Dies R Us.

Cut 3 shades of blue cardstock to fit the card front.  Place the Thanks die in the center and die cut through all layers.  For contrast, die cut Thanks from orange cardstock.

Emboss the light blue layer with a dotted background, then assemble all 3 layers on the card.  In the open space add Thanks with Best Glue Ever.

Stamp a sentiment with black ink, punch out and add to the card with foam adhesives for dimension.

Please stop by the Dies R Us Store to see all the dies that are available!

Lavinia World Challenge # 23

Hi everyone, it's time for the next challenge at Lavinia World Challenges.  Please check it out and join in the fun.

I started by placing the Moon Fairy on the MISTI.  I first inked the image with VersaFine Clair Cheerful, then reinked portions of the stamp with Purple Delight, then reinked portions of the stamp with Blue Bell.  Using the MISTI makes this process very easy and creates an amazing result.

Isn't she gorgeous?

Next, using a background created with spray inks, I inked the Fairy Bridge with VersaFine Clair in Pinecone and stamped it on the background.

Die cutting the panel, I matted it with brown cardstock, white cardstock and brown cardstock before adding it to the card.

The stamped image was die cut, inked and matted with a larger die, then added to the card with foam adhesives for dimension.

The phrase is Every Dream and it was added across the width of the card with foam adhesives for dimension.

Would love to see what you create for Challenge #23.  The winner of the challenge will receive a
$15 gift certificate to Lavinia World to shop for more goodies.   Remember there is a new challenge every other Thursday.  Can't wait to see what you create.

Thanks for stopping by.

Welcome Home

I'm on the Clearscraps blog with some of the new products soon to be available.  This wonderful house puzzle has many possibilities.

Start by separating the house puzzle pieces and then paint with light brown and dark brown paints.

Tape the 6" Shiplap Stencil to the chimney and add modeling paste.

Stamp paw prints in black ink around the light brown panels.

Stamp the paw prints at the top of the house.  Use stickers to spell out welcome across the top.

Run twine across the top, then "hang" acrylic Small Pennants banner pieces that were painted with pink paint.   Add stickers spelling home.

Add photos.  Since we just adopted a new puppy, I wanted to welcome her to her new home.

Thanks for stopping by.

With Love Floral Panel

Hi everyone, this month the Rinea design team is collaborating with Creative Embellishments.

Adhere Sapphire Starstruck to a canvas panel.  Add a strip of Ebony/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper along the bottom edge.

Ink the  Chicken Wire Chipboard Panel with blue ink, then adhere to the canvas panel.

To get good color on the Hibiscus, add a layer of gesso and let dry.

Use Brilliance inks to color the Hibiscus.

Adhere the Hibiscus to the Chicken Wire Chipboard Panel, adding foam adhesives to the top flower for dimension.

Using the Cricut, die cut a jug from Silver/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper.

Add the jug to the canvas panel with foam adhesives for dimension.

Stamp a phrase on a scrap of Gold/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper using StazOn Piano Black Ink and a stamp from Joy Clair.  Add twine to one end and tie it to the handle of the jug.

Enjoy the Little Things Canvas

Hi everyone,  I'm participating with the Designer Crafts Connection blog hop and this month we are working with our favorite products.

Have you tried paint pouring yet?  It's so much fun and there are so many things you can create.  I chose to create this fun canvas.

I decided on the colors I wanted to use from the vast array of paints from Plaid Paints, poured a little into several paper cups, then added Mod Podge Ultra as a mixative.  Once mixed together, I started my pour.  Rotate your canvas so the pour goes into a variety of directions creating amazing designs.  It's such a relaxing feeling and you never know what the outcome will be.

Using a rollagraph wheel and a dotted stamp with brown ink, I rolled it randomly about the canvas. Next, I die cut  Rinea Mocha Starstruck Foiled Paper using a Heartfelt Creations die (2 needed) then adhered them to the center of the canvas with Beacon 3-in-1 Adhesive.

Using a stencil, I die cut it from watercolor paper, then used texture paint through the stencil.   Letting it dry completely, I then inked the edges before adhering it to the center.

Please stop by the Designer Crafts Connection blog to see what the designers have created this month.

Thanks for stopping by.

Butterfly Wall Art

Hi everyone, I'm on the Proxxon blog today creating butterfly wall art.

Do you have a little girl in your life who loves butterflies?  Here's an easy way to make any number of butterflies for her room.

Draw the design on foam, then use the Hot Wire Cutter to quickly and easily cut out the butterfly.

Paint the butterfly with assorted colors of Plaid paints.  I used lavender for the base.  Once dry, I placed a stencil on top and added purple and blue paints.  Black was added to the antenae.  To finish, I selected an assorted of dew drops from the Robin's Nest to decorate the butterfly.

It looks like she's flying, doesn't it?

Easter Panel

Hi everyone, I'm on the ClearScraps blog today with some fun new products that will soon be available.

The panel I used is approximately 8" x 10".  I divided the panel into 2 sections, one for the grass and one for the sky, then dry brushed on the paints.

The Bunny Mini Wood Pallet Shape was painted pink and Nuvo drops were added to her ears for dimension.  She was then placed in the grass.  A strip of Rinea Foiled Paper in Emerald Starstruck was torn and placed across the panel, then the bunny was added on top.

Using a small oval die, I die cut assorted papers to create Easter eggs.  They were placed around the panel and Nuvo Drops were added to several eggs for dimension. The Easter Chipboard Word Title was painted purple and glued to the panel.

I used a Crop-A-Dile to punch holes in the panel and added ribbon for hanging.

Sweet Fairy Cards

Hi everyone, this month the Rinea design team is collaborating with Creative Embellishments.

I created fairy cards using the Sitting Fairies from Creative Embellishments.  These are sweet laser cut elements that are perfect card elements.

I inked the tree stump with VersaFine Clair Pinecone Ink and the fairy with Brilliance Platinum Planet ink, then embossed her with white embossing powder, letting some of the embossing powder spill onto the tree stump like fairy dust.

Creating a card from black cardstock, I tore strips of Jade/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper, adding them to a panel of Sapphire Starstruck, creating grass for the fairy to sit upon.   The panel was then die cut with a Lawn Fawn rectangle die and adhered to the card.

The phrase was stamped on Silver Starstruck with Piano Black StazOn Pigment ink, which is perfect for glossy papers - absolutely no smudging!

The phrase was cut apart and matted with cardstock then added to the card.  Then the fairy was added.  For additional color, I added Nuvo drops to her wings.

My second card is a shaker card.

The mushroom was inked with brown ink and the fairy with cream ink.  For sparkle, I used a diamond sparkle embossing powder.  Once dry, I inked the mushroom again with green ink for more color.  On the fairy wings, I used Stickles.  Placing her aside to dry, I created my card.

Using Lawn Fawn dies, I die cut the top panel of my shaker element using Lavender/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper.  I also die cut an acrylic panel the same size, gluing it to the Lavender panel.

To create the shaker, I die cut Violet/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper then die cut the pattern in the background.  Placing foam tape between the layers the shaker was formed.  Dew drops from the Robin's Nest were sealed inside.

Creating a white card, I die cut Jade Starstruck and adhered it to the card.  The shaker panel was then added to complete the card.  Dreams was stamped on Silver Starstruck with Piano Black StazOn Pigment ink, punched and added to the corner of the card.
